They actually make a franks red hot in powdered form, but unfortunately it's only for industrial use so you have to be in the R&D department of a food manufacturer to get it. Its a shame they won't sell it to the public.

I use it to season my roasted cut chicken and it's great on French FriesOriginally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. I think franks is taking over ranch in my house. My kids will put franks hot sauce on anything savory now. And when I mix it with a bit of mayo they like to dip veggies in it.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Zucchini is one of my favorite grill veggies, but I'd suggest roasted broccoli. Hit it with a light coating of olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic (if ya want), throw it in the oven at like 400 degrees. Probably about 10 minutes or until you see the tops get crispy. Really brings out a flavor that traditional steamed broccoli never could. My wife won't eat veggies any way else!NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Re: Official OS BBQ/Grilling Thread
I like to smoke, grill, do pizza in the oven and create a makeshift brick oven on the grill. I haven't smoked in a while because of the 111" of snow we have here in the Northeast. I got the itch the other day while watching the Nascar race and a dozen cold ones.
Operation Rescue Smokey was a success!
Disclaimer: I honestly thought I could clear the bank, but I barely made it in. Apparently at this age, gravity wins even though I felt like I was soaring through the air. This week, pulled pork and pizzas.

Re: Official OS BBQ/Grilling Thread
my gas grill is prone to flareups....
I've scraped the covers that sit over the gas jets, and also emptied a lot of the ash in the catch tray. Still must be grease on those that want to catch fire....
Is my only solution to soak them in soap/water for a while to really get rid of it?Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Official OS BBQ/Grilling Thread
I am ready for spring to actually get here so I can get the smoker out on a regular basis. I smoked some chicken breast wrapped in bacon this week.
Just about every barbecue recipe I use comes from Myron and this book.

I pulled the ol' charcoal grill out to do some hot dogs and brats. Nothing spectacular, but grilling is back!

Grilled up NY strip steaks on Monday and it was glorious. We got a big *** panini press that we thought could be our winter time grill essentially, but nothing matches cooking over an open flame.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Re: Official OS BBQ/Grilling Thread
We did some steaks and potatoes on the grill last Friday. I'm hoping to do some teriyaki chicken this weekend for some fried rice.
Anybody have any good sauce recipes that would be similar to BWW's Jammin' Jalapeno?

Grilled a London broil that had been marinating for two days in the middle of yesterdays snow storm, lol. Finished it off with some sauteed mushrooms and Broccolini. Damn good!“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment
