My seven-year-old nephew just taught me how to play Minesweeper, the game that I would randomly click on squares until bombs exploded on the screen.

I've taught a few students named Nevaeh in my life, not knowing its name origin.

Thanks to the Angry Run segment on Good Morning Football, I just learned that NEVAEH is HEAVEN spelled backwards.

I think if I capitalized it like that ever or spelled the letters out, I would've caught on much earlier. Now I want to go back to those students and tell them what I learned!

I had a student, first day, my name is Nevaeh... It means I came from heaven.

I looked at her, looked at her name, went home... Told my wife, and she simply said... "Spell it backwards." Lol.

That was years ago, it was just a funny "what?" Moment.

The Nevaeh part I actually heard before because they had some random kids performance here last summer.

Nomar=Ramon I never even thought about or knew.

I first learned about it in Backyard Baseball 2001. If you click on the player enough times, they start giving facts about themselves. Nomar was saying how his father's name is Ramon or something like that.

I'm sure Jon Miller said it once or twice on Sunday Night Baseball back when, too.

ChatGPT/AI bots in general have actually been fairly useful.

Not that I don't know what they are, but I never knew just how useful it could be about various things. Even just asking something like the difference in quality between certain settings on a product, it could answer stuff in a quicker and easier to understand way than googling it and 80% most likely just winding up checking reddit because people there explain it better than some blogger on a search result that shows up on google.

I don't know if I'm just slow, stupid, or what...

But the little tab on the car's rearview mirror? I thought that was just for looser adjusting or something. I had no idea that pulling it down basically gave you a tinted version of looking out your back window.

I'll have to see it in the daytime to see if that's the setting I prefer having it on. My back window already has 5% tinting on it, so this would just be an added layer.

Love it at night time when some butt munch has their brights on behind me!

Never knew about remote play before on playstation.

I knew of it, but I thought remote play was just something like syncing your playstation with someone else's, or just using your phone as a remote.

Didn't realize you could actually play your playstation on a laptop or phone without the console actually being there.

Sure, the WiFi needs to be real good for it to be decent, but the amount of times I probably could've used this such as if I'm on vacation (console too big to pack with me) or one of those dead days at work.....

Only downside is needing to leave it in rest mode all the time to do this which I almost never do, or if I accidentally turn it off from remote play it can't be turned back on.

That's why I love the Portal even more now about accidentally turning off the PlayStation. Cloud Streaming has been amazing!

New feature they added a month or two back now! Not every game, but the library is pretty solid.

Best way for me to play games I normally wouldn't like Returnal, Death Stranding, and many more. Play it while my wife watches her specific shows I have zero interest in... I'm looking at you, Sister Wives.

I probably won't use it enough or play the games available to make it worth it, but that's basically the feature I wanted with the PSP (was it even possible back then? Though WiFi isn't what it is today, and back then I dealt with stupid data limits on home wifi).

As someone who likes playing armchair GM where I don't even need to use a controller to play at a specific skill level, I could still do things like that through my phone or laptop for fun now (I used to love playing baseball mogul on my computer).
