They are using some of the bond money to better other things. If they can afford it and the voters are okay with it I don't see the big problem. That's what school bonds are used for.

Its a $62.8M football stadium....for high school. You could take $62M of that $62.8M and fix all kinds of other things in addition to what the other bond money is fixing.

Meanwhile my university isn't sure where $50-70M is going to come from to build a new stadium and is considering dropping football altogether in the next 5-10 years.

We are talking about high school....high school.

It's also going to host soccer and an event center. It will probably host some playoff games as well.

I'm from Texas so I know how much high school football means here. My high school played at a college stadium but I bet transfers go up when that stadium gets done being built.

I don't have any issue with it.

Katy, Texas is building one in 2017. That's three cities (three very wealthy cities at that) with high school stadiums over 60 million bucks.

I can tell the people that are freaking out aren't from Texas. We've had two consecutive state championship games top 45K in attendance. For high school...high school.

Like I said, I understand football is huge in Texas, its like hoops is here in Indiana. I just think its absurd to spend that kind of money on a football and soccer stadium and event center that is for high school football.

Do you mean that those four items are all you are ordering? If so, you would pay the price of two of those items (Say they are $20, you pay $40 instead of $80), but would receive four items. If you are intending to pay the price for four items, you would get eight of them, in theory (So you'd pay $80 instead of $160).

I suck at math, but trying to figure this out I can only come to this conclusion.

I think it depends on how the BOGO works. At Giant Eagle their BOGO items are almost always set up so if the add says a 12 pack of Pepsi is BOGO free and the original price is $4 you can buy 1 for $2. So if you buy 4 its $8.

So going off this, if you buy 4 items you get 4 items.

Agreed, I assumed because of the way it was phrased that he is buying four items and was asking how many total items should be shipped to them.

Didn't think of it as 2 items bought so 4 total. Could be either way.

Nailed it. I tried explaining the difference between ordering and buying but she maintained she was right. She called it a draw and I let her have it, rather her be mad at Macy's than me.
