    Damn man, that’s enough now.

Glad to hear he’s doing better.

Sounds like pulmonary edema. Scary stuff indeed.

Branching off from the earlier Costco talk, shopping at Ikea.... Good luck.

Thankfully they do tell you online if items are in stock and where you can find it, but the store itself is still a maze. Best buy has gotten maze like too, but on easy mode.

I don't think I've put together anything Ikea related in years. Don't go there often anyways. Last was probably my dresser. Wonder how long it's gonna take to put together a wooden chair.

Answer-Only 20 or so minutes. Didn't have as many parts as I thought. Probably could've put it together without instructions, but theres always that 1 screw, bolt or weird little metal piece you wouldn't find a spot for without the book.

So everyone in my family has had the stomach bug over the past week. I'm the last to get it and it has really beaten me down Rocky Balboa style. This weekend has been brutal. I'll spare you all the details. I'm still nowhere near 100% but I needed to move around a bit.

Anywho, hope you all are doing well.

IKEA is a cake-walk unless you forgot something from earlier. Then it's like trying to go against a salmon rush.

I find their store confusing. Though I rarely go there so that's probably a reason too. I knew what I went for, so I just went from the exit and got the item off the shelves there instead of going through the store.

Unrelated note, but online buyers on these classified sites are weird. I'm selling something, they message to ask if it's still available, I say yes, then they never reply back again. Some who do offer like 25% of what you want for the item.

Haven't been there in years, but no, it's more like a giant furniture store with a food court and a play area where parents can leave their kids while they shop. I think they also sell other stuff too, mainly home decor. Also, everything is manufactured in Sweden.

Ahh, I was thinking it might be designed the same way, like circling around until you get to the center, sorta like a cinnabon

Finally getting warm enough for baseball cap weather.

One hat I have unfortunately the inside sweatband part of it is white. Meaning it looks dirty so much faster than rest of hat for obvious reasons. Rest of hat looks brand new and clean though (it's one of those trucker style hats with mesh back)

Any advice on best ways to clean the white sweatband part? I've only had this hat for 1.5 years but it sucks to see it getting this dirty already. Most of my hats, minus colours fading from sunlight, look fine. Then again, they are dark coloured inside so who knows how dirty it might actually be.

I haven't washed my older hats either. Maybe I should, but I don't want to try washing then ruining the hats.

I feel like I've been walking on eggshells for 4 months now. Continually freaking out.

Now allergies are kicking in since the weather is starting to turn a bit.

Glad to hear you're doing better.

Ah, well I've never been to Aldis so I don't know how it's laid out, I just know it's a grocery store. It's been more than 10 years since I've been to Ikea so I don't really remember the layout. I was making the comparison based on inventory.

I just toss mine in the washer with the laundry and they're fine. I put them in last though so they're on top and then let them air dry afterwards.

I've thought about that, but didn't want to try it incase the hat gets ruined. Maybe I should then?

Easiest solution I've found online is just putting it in a bucket of water, adding small amount of detergent and cleaning it that way, which is basically same thing as washing machine, except I can just "experiment" on a single hat. Might try that one on an old hat and see how it works.

Colour fading I guess isn't anything I can fix? In hindsight, it was my fault too because I hang my hats up on my door, but the door faces the window. Probably better off leaving it in a closet. Left side is how the inside looks, right side is how the outside is. Can obviously see how much different the colour has gotten.
