so I believe more people than not (people who have terrible math skills) will ''get it right'' just by assuming it is right, just like it states

Didn't know she was that old, either.

Honestly, outside of the Jenny Craig commercials (and more recently being on The Masked Singer), the only thing I grew up seeing her in was Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen's film It Takes Two (was too young for Cheers).

The age now makes sense though, given her age in that film.

I grew up a Star Trek fan, but not so huge a fan as to go as far as being a Trekkie (not that there's anything wrong with that lol), so I'll always remember her for Wrath of Khan, even more than her Cheers role

Twitch (most known as the DJ from the Ellen show) died.

I'm sure most people on this site probably have rarely if ever seen the Ellen show, but this sucks to hear.

He was the upbeat, dancing guy on the show, and the show only ended several months ago. You never know what people are going through at any time.

Sucks how true the old Robin Williams quote seems to be, he sadly knew that truth better than people realized until it was too late.

I think I remember part of this story from last year. A homeless man got roughed up by a fellow cop, and your superiors came after you for trying to report it. I was always curious about what happened. Having said that, the articles that came up don't look good.

EVERYTHING you touch that can connect to the internet has an ad it seems these days.

Even my ad-block browswer on my android phone that I used for years, whose purpose is to BLOCK ADS, started running an ad the first time the app was launched each day.

I think we should deem the 2020s as the "ad age".

I've had YouTube Premium for years. It's worth it. IG is getting worse and worse with ads. I still remember when they first started putting them on. Now they are nonstop.

As far as actual streaming services go, I feel like we are at such point of critical saturation that I'm sure Netflix, Peacock, Disney Paramount, etc, are all looking down the road and thinking they would rather go all ad-supported at some point. I could see us looking back wondering how we got away with paying < $10 a month for ad free content as long as we did. I recently looked at getting a Netflix subscription and had no idea it was at $15 at the lowest ad-free tier. Had no clue that it had reached that level. That want everyone to get the $6.99 ad one I'm sure.

The cheapest non-ad tier on Netflix is 9.99. The bigger issue with the ads tier is the same issue as that tier, max resolution is 720p which is just trash. The basic tier wasn’t even HD until like 2 months ago. Netflix sucks.

You're right, I read it wrong. I saw the 15.99 for "standard" and was like wtf. I've never really been a fan of Netflix's content, so them being weird about HD wasn't on my radar.
