I thought this afflicted me today. My friend visits once a year and when she does, she buys me taco bell, it's my favorite. Judgements be damned, I love me some taco bell.


My favorite of all? Quesarito.



On her way over she messages me that she's in line. I'm excited. She's 5 minutes away.


Next message: "What do you want instead of quesaritos?"


I panic, knowing she's at the drive thru, I say "couple beef burritos instead"


Figured I was subjected to some sorta ingredients shortage that the website suggested while I tried to figure out what I wanted


Turned out, quesarito is an online only order had nothing to do with a shortage


to make matters worse, they screwed up the order and gave me a bunch of bean burritos instead of beef.


I don't like beans



they also left out my chipotle chicken melt


her order was fine.


at least I got my cheesy fiesta potatoes


better luck next year

As a lover of the quesarito, I was flabbergasted the first time I went through the drive thru and got the "it's online order only".

I told the person "you mean taco bell doesn't want my money."

Almost brought tears to my eyes.

Obviously the pandemic has impacted people in different ways (many in a negative way), but I'm more than ready to move on from this already.

Amount of close family members lost either directly due to covid and/or couldn't have family visit or try to help them during their time in need is frustrating.

The fact that I've basically become an expert in "zoom funerals/memorials" and have probably experienced more family deaths in the last 1.5 years than the rest of my life before that is sad.

I'm watching a playthrough of a guy playing PS1 Metal Gear Solid via YouTube...no commentary or skipping cut-scenes.

It's literally like watching a classic movie, it's so enjoyable.

I'm watching a playthrough of a guy playing PS1 Metal Gear Solid via YouTube...no commentary or skipping cut-scenes.

It's literally like watching a classic movie, it's so enjoyable.

I've done that in the past with other games I loved. I wanted to play them, but don't have the time to spend playing through it all so I just watched gameplay online instead.

The best ones are when it just shows the game. No talking over them, sometimes if they talk to a NPC, they'd even go through all dialogue options as well.

I don't watch people play walkthroughs, but lately I've been watching a lot of movie reaction YouTube videos. Some people ask how I can watch movies over and over again, and sometimes the best way is it can feel like the first time again when you watch it with somebody who hasn't seen it before. The way you pay attention to the movie is on a different level, and you feel their investment alongside it. It's why going to the movies can be so great, especially for a comedy. Watching reactions to movies I've seen before in their moments (which I know they can be exaggerating for the camera, but I otherwise feel as really genuine) gets those feels back for me.

No but I'll use that as my work-around going forward. Thanks for the tip!

Once in a while, a nice legacy Taco Bell employee will make one for me because they definitely still have all the stuff to make them (I mean, there are only like 3-4 ingredients in every Taco Bell item...), but the MexiMelt is not officially on the menu any more. I'm so irritated by that.

The Bell Burger....that's going way back. I think you're gonna just have to get over that one LOL

I noticed a wrap at Kroger called "Cheeseburgurito", I wonder if that's the same thing
