I remember her from "Morning Drive" on the Golf Channel ~5 years ago. She did other shows and coverage for the network. I believe she used to be a pretty good collegiate golfer.

She left for FOX Sports a few years ago, and I really never heard or saw her again since I really didn't watch FOX's golf coverage.

I was flipping tv stations and TMZ was on... yes, it's come to that during quarantine... and they were doing a story about her and her fiance. First I thought, "hey, there's a porn star with the same name as..." Then I realized that was the same person.

I was surprised by the amount of work she has done. And by work, I mean "enhancements" and not "journalistic."

I always felt bad for her because I thought GC was using her for "eye candy" and not relying more on her analysis. Now, she's just embraced the lifestyle of being over-the-top "eye candy." To me it was very surprising and really sad.

Yeah, I always thought she was awesome on Golf Channel but she's apparently going in a different direction with her career (less 'sports' and more 'porn star'). I'm not going to get into psychoanalyzing someone I don't even know, but one wonders about her self-esteem...

I can't believe it has taken me this long to get into Planet Earth. This show is nuts lol, I've never seen giraffes fight before, they just stand next to each other, side to side, bumping hips, and if neither backs down they just start swinging their heads at each other, it's crazy lol

For the first time in my 41 years on this Earth and living in this area, the first Saturday in May isn't filled with people going nuts over betting on horses and trying to cash in on the "fastest two minutes in sports".
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I don't understand law enforcement, I really don't. There was an incident this afternoon that required multiple police units to respond to a person who has been a nuisance for years. She somehow talked her way out of it, I thought she'd be arrested for real this time, but of course not, they always get away with a warning.

Fast forward a few hours, there's another issue with the same person, only this time she's getting her *** kicked by the maniac across the hall. He likes to strangle women. Nearly killed one a couple weeks ago until a crew member stopped him after her face was purple. The same crew of cops showed up and they were clearly annoyed about having to come here again, but this time acted aggressive and threatened to kick the door in.

Nothing happened of course, she opened the door and explained the injuries to her throat were caused by her dog, because obviously dogs have opposable thumbs. This time they got another warning (seriously? another warning?) because she said she didn't feel "endangered". Police then pointed out that every single person had active warrants and if they get called back again everyone is going to jail. Why was it ok for this seemingly serious call to get shrugged off, and everyone had warrants? we'll let that go, too?

Welp, they got called again, third time, and guess what happened? NOTHING! Nothing ever happens, it's always warnings, why? WHY? I don't understand law enforcement, what's the point? Why issue nonstop warnings and never do anything about anything?

they took pics and left, the Maniac taunted them from the balcony as they left with their tails between their legs because apparently they can't do anything

Law enforcement is really good at enforcing laws that are profitable to the municipality/state to enforce. That's why you basically never get a warning for speeding or parking illegally (anyway, I never have).

It's not profitable to enforce property crime and violence. They don't want the hassle. There is paperwork involved, etc and the DA - especially if you live in uber-liberal places like SF or Chicago - may not believe in prosecuting criminals (this is not an overstatement, look up SF's district attorney). So if the guy is going to fly the coup the second you bring him in, why go through the trouble?

Bottom line is they don't care.

I wish they'd switch up their tactics with these warnings because it feels like a parent telling their kid "if I count to 3..." and then they never get to 3, at this point they're at 2.999 and every time they come back they just add another 9.

No, and fun fact, I wanted to post in the "things that took you too long to realize" thread about the cartoon "The PJs", I had no idea it stood for the projects.

But my location is a nice area, this building in particular is tucked behind the nice, hidden from it. I know the response is "why not move" and I have to preempt that with "i wish it was that simple"

l3ulvl's living situation is the source of constant entertainment/amusement for the OS forums...I don't get the sense that it's "the projects" per se, but it's an interesting area from the sounds of it.

here's a fun one from tonight, my next door neighbor (not Maniac), who has been relying on her son to essentially maintain a drug house here to supply her and pay off her stuff, flipped out on him and kicked him out because he didn't give her dope for Mother's day. That's a thing that actually happened
