My alien theory is that they're nothing like anyone has ever depicted them as. They clearly dont know english, french, chinese, spanish or anything. Likely don't even need oxygen to survive, or are some tiny green creatures in a flying disc.

Any alien story like this that we hear about seems amusing because it's like a TV show where no matter what alien someone encounters, the alien happens to speak English, minus a few made up words.

Is it possible to see how another YouTuber's channel grows over time by subscription count? Like how many they had last month, the month before, etc.? I know we can do that with our own.

I was going to model one of my own student's channel growth to see when they'd hit 1M subs, but don't want to hassle them with giving me the data.

Majingir - sorry you're ill as well! Your post is funny because it contains a lot of 2020 truths. People forget that regular colds/flus happen too(!). But these days it's like you're a leper if you have a mild sniffle. I guess you can't be too careful but it's gotten a little extreme. I have a mild dust allergy, which causes me to sneeze and have a runny nose for maybe 15-20 minutes before it just goes away/tolerizes, but during that time, I have to sequester myself as far away from anyone as possible and assure everyone that I'm not sick and that it will go away within the hour. Very annoying.

Want some more 2020 truths? Turns out it was a false alarm, sorta. I thought I was getting sick, knew it wasn't anything major, but still didnt want it to be anything at all. I went overboard on the type of stuff I would've done if I was actually sick, and I guess I killed the germs before they spread. It was really looking like it was gonna be strep throat or something like that, but thankfully everything went away fairly quickly. The weirdest thing I did that I read up on is eating ice chips. Somehow that helps, and within hours after doing that everything got better.

Was coming out of a QuikTrip little bit ago, trying to make a left, and I see a cop across the street in a business park, and I'm trying to time my turn where this truck goes by and then I was gonna go in behind him since it's technically illegal to stop in the median. So the cop is about to pull the truck over, truck shoots left around me across my side of the road onto a side street, guns it down the street, and darts into an apartment complex. So I end up having to stop in the median of course while the truck and the cop went around me. Waiting for traffic, I figured the cop had him in the apartment complex, but no way to know. So I finish my left turn, head up the street and make a right. It's the same street the side street the truck went on connects to. I head down the street a little and a truck of identical color goes from the middle lane behind me through the left turn and across the other side of the street all in one motion. Pretty sure it was the same truck. Think he got away. Looked in my rear view mirror for a sec to see if a motorcycle cop was coming but couldn't see one. I imagine the cop got the license plate real quick when it first started because of the slight delay in the truck skidding to make the left turn in front of me, but at least for a minute, think he managed to escape.

I feel like I have so many good ideas (imo) for products, but I have no idea how to design anything or find anyone who can make it or anything like that.

Selling wise I think I could manage that part, but it's the actual making of the products I have no idea about. Especially since any "supplier" already charges so much for any sort of custom orders, and even the box the item would come in I'd imagine costs a lot. All for items I'd probably have sold for $20-40. No wonder simple things on Etsy cost like $80.

If I ever get any of this stuff figured out... I'll remember you guys.


Ironically, I think it would be more feasible if I won a lottery, although if I won the lottery, I wouldn't have that need for money so...

Gotta spend money to make money.

Depends how big of a lottery too. If its 20m or something, that will be enough for generations. I'm not exactly someone who'll waste money on some 100k+ car or anything like that.

But no need to work, having all the time and enough money available to invest in myself, I definitely could come up with something decent, especially since my plan is targeting Canadian market specifically, which isn't as common nowadays when it comes to products.
