Yeah it's a swing, just tried to get many more people involved is all.

Sadly, this umpire didn't rule it a swing.

So why is it that people of means (real means) wait until they have either gone bald or are clearly balding to get some treatment / implants or whatever is it that they do.

Latest guy guilty of this is my main man Tiger Woods. Now looks much better, we all know the whole "with a cap / without a cap" meme, so why did he wait?!

Probably just the simple fact that it's a hassle, and men are lazy. And if you have that much money there's even less incentive to care, unless you are an actor or a leader of some sort and you think it matters.

I find interesting how The Masters figure out streaming, seemingly, way earlier than a lot of other channels/events. Like, I remember streaming The Masters on their site for a lot of years now and they don't bull**** you either, which I give them so much credit for. You go to their site, you click who you want to follow or whatever and up it goes and they show you the stream/clips.

No sign in. No email bull****. No authenticating anything. No blackouts. No need for VPN's. No nothing. You click, you watch. Must be all that money they have

Yeah, it's amazing what a couple of billion dollars and a can-do attitude can accomplish.

But I agree w/ you completely - way ahead of the curve in terms of streaming.

Ditto. I have a growing spot that I’m now finally tending to, so I ignored it for the longest time because I was lazy about it, and the treatment for it was iffy at the time, so I wasn’t sure it would even work. Therefore, after having bought the treatment and having it, I still rarely used it when I was supposed to be using it consistently.

Now, I’m stuck with the same spot and using treatment to try and make a difference. Granted, a brain injury more heavily influenced the spot I sustained in that actual area as well. I had bruising and evidence of TBI all under that area at my last check.

It’s known as telogen effluvium or is related to it when a scalp or skull injury influences baldness. Since then, I’ve grown my hair out, as well as my beard. It’s much less noticeable now, but I know it’s there, so it’s a mind-over-matter situation leading me to treat it as well. The brain is a beautiful weapon for us and against us. I’ve taken this recovery time to learn so much about psychology and neuroscience.

For anyone who remembers Stump the Schwab on ESPN about 20 years ago (that and BDSSP were 2 of my fave sports shows to watch), "The Schwab" Howie Schwab passed away this morning at the age of 63.

Crazy thing is the announcement came a few hours ago (around 10am ET), but as of 9 hours ago (4am ET) he was still replying to comments on social media. So it really was a sudden "die in his sleep" thing.

They really should bring that kind of show back in some capacity. Was a fun one to play along with at home.

Same with BDSSP, it was such a fun sports show to have.

But shows like that seem to cost more money than they make, and all these networks just care for the "talking heads" kind of shows.

Dan Patrick was hosting a Sports Jeopardy at one point, but he seemed to condescend the contestants for not knowing answers so often that it turned me away from it.

I like the Stump the Schwab format of doing list of things anyway, like HR Derby winners since 1990 or whatever they'd do.

And the thing about Stump the Schwab, it wasn't just question and answer, it was different rounds/games.

One round could be like "name the starting roster of the 1999 LA Lakers", another like you said could be the back and forth round between contestants where the category is "home run derby winners" and the contestants go back and forth naming names, or you have 30 seconds to name as many SuperBowl MVPs as you can.
