Prayers manI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

prayers for Jeremy's parents.
but on a lighter note, I guess the kids have good news and bad news regarding Halloween: bad news is they probably won't be out TorT'ing for Halloween. good news is they'll still have to wear a mask.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Re: CDC Officials Warn of Coronavirus Outbreaks in the United States.
We just learned that my mom and step-dad both have COVID. They have been pretty careful for the most part and basically, let their guard down by getting peer-pressured into going to a church member's house for dinner two weeks ago.
Multiple members of their church now have it and their 82-year-old pastor was put in hospice today. My mom is 61 and my step-dad is 71 and both of them have underlying health conditions so at this point it's just waiting and hoping that they get better.
If you or one of your loved ones have health problems don't slip up, all it takes is one time.
My mom thinks she got it a couple of weeks ago when she had congestion and no taste/smell and my dad thinks he got it when he was REALLY sick back in February....but who in sam hill knows.
My frustration is that they keep claiming nobody around them has it so they're fine BUT they fail to realize these same people have everyday jobs where they interact with the public.
I have zero doubt if I get it, I'll recover 100%. But that doesn't mean I cant spread it even when being ultra careful and my parents then get really sick. It's admittedly worrisome.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: CDC Officials Warn of Coronavirus Outbreaks in the United States.
So around june 12 we had around 52 cases in my county. Now we are at 312. Also about a month ago like 70% of them where on the eastern part i live on the western part. Now over half are on the western part. 158 western and 154 in eastern part. Its crazy that in a little less then 2 months that cases have multipled by about 6 and that in about a month it like completely flipped flopped the part of the county.Comment

My in-laws pick and chose when to use Covid as an excuse. Cousin's wedding in the fall? Can't go because of Covid. Continue to dine in at the local Chilis? Sure, why the **** not.

Since all of this started, my wife & I have been out to eat a total of 1 time at a restaurant. We stopped for breakfast, ate outside, tables were all 6 ft apart, but we were still extremely cautious.PSN-Shugarooo

JPMorgan analyzed data from 30 million Chase cardholders and Johns Hopkins University’s case tracker and found that higher restaurant spending in a state predicted a rise in new infections there three weeks later.
In-person restaurant spending was “particularly predictive.”
Conversely, higher spending at supermarkets predicted a slower spread of the virus.Comment

At this point is it really all that crazy? It is kind of what this thing does. Disease experts (or "Alarmists" as they are called by some) have been hammering this point since February.Comment

Good for them!! While covid in general kind of sucks, there have been a few perks. Last week I had to use a public restroom, and every other urinal was blocked off for distancing......It was honestly one of the best things that has happened to me in a long time. So peaceful.Comment

Re: CDC Officials Warn of Coronavirus Outbreaks in the United States.
The disease was always going to spread. Lockdowns helped, but basically just kicked the can down the road to where we are now, ie: better therapeutics/treatment and lower death rate. The long game approach to living with Covid is the only practical one that ever made sense for countries. Basically Sweden minus the nursing home mismanagement. Eventually we get some kind of a vaccine, and people either decide to get it or they don't, but regardless we go back to the normalcy of individuals deciding what they want to expose themselves to.Comment

This is so a person could only have mild systems.Comment
