I started mine in the MLS even though I usually do the usual League 2 - EPL. I was DC United, led by a great goal scorer Eddie Johnson, we finished high table in the first 2 years but still could not win a domestic cup or the Playoff thanks to Toronto FC. And then it all changed.... I would go on to 4 straight US Open Cup wins and 4 straight MLS Playoff Championships (Only 3 of 4 years was I Regular Season Champ).

We were a fairly competitive team until Year 3 in which our winning percentage would be through the roof having star GK Sean Johnson (Years 2-6) and star ST's Dom Dwyer (Years 2-6) and Deshorn Brown (Played Years 4-5). But it all turned for worse as I became to lazy with contracts and would forget until 5 months left on each contract which was to late as French Team Montepellier HSC had scooped up Leading Goal Scorer ST Brown and then a year later picked up Star GK Johnson (I didn't like Montepellier HSC anymore).

But since i have moved on to other Manager modes that have just gotten underway.

I started a career with Arsenal solely for the purpose of getting a position as manager of a national team. Pretty quickly, Portugal gave me an offer and I accepted. I'm the manager of Portugal's international team. Hopefully Ronaldo and crew can help me give Portugal it's first World Cup trophy.

I haven't play in a while. Or I hadn't played in a while. About 4 weeks ago I started play again or the first time since Around December or January. Anywho.....

I started a new Manger. I always start in either MLS or Australia. I don't know, I just do. So this time I decided I was going to stay way from them and start some place else. I ended up deciding to go with the English League 2 and try to work my way up into FL, and maybe see what other jobs I could take in the EURO leagues. I picked Bristol Rovers. Honestly don't remember why, but that is who I picked. Playyed on pro since I haven't played in a bit. No cup first year.

In the first season I upgraded the squad from a 1* to a 2**. Brought in a couple strikers and a few backs. We ended up gaining promotion, but just barely. I had to win out my last 5 games, and I failed to do so. Winning 4 and drawing in the last. However, I ended up tying with the team in third, and getting the jump on them (not sure if this was GD or H2H) so I gained promotion.

Second season, first season in English League 1, I ended up winning the J. Paint cup. Also improved the squad from a 2* to a 3*. Brought in an older vet at keeper who dominated the season with 18 clean sheets. Also brought in some better midfielders and some wingers. Changed our main formation from a 4-2-2-2 to a 3-5-3. Which suited my style better and I won more games. Ended up finishing second on the table to gain promotion. I was in first for most of the middle of the season. But then I lost a few and dropped. And they just kept winning and I couldn't catch them to win the title. Also lost in the first round of the Capitol One Cup to Manchester United 4-1.

This whole time I was only ever offered one job (I mean I applied and they asked me to join them) and the job I wanted to take. But something got messed up. I applied at the end of the second season for a job in second league in France, can't remember the name of the team. They sent me back the email to accept the contract, but the season ended on that day. And it would not let me accept the job. I hit X to open it and it wouldn't do anything. So I went on to the third season thinking the email would still be there. Nope it was gone. This also messed up my manager page, it showed I had no record with my team. And this seemed to jack up all my applications in the third season. I wanted out, because I knew I was going to bomb in my first year in FL. I wanted to move to another country for a while. But everything was rejected, even trying to apply for a job in Ireland.

So anyways, third year, first in FL. We bomb. I was not able to keep some players, they wanted more money than I had to give them. The board would not give me more money saying I hadn't proven myself. What are you talking about? I just got us promoted two years in a row. And you expect me to compete with FL teams with this roster? come on. I couldn't even bring in new guys because I had no money to do so. So we finish 20th. They wanted mid table finish. We only had something like 8 wins on the season. (I forgot to mention I only played about 40% of the matches each season, I simmed the rest).

The rovers board is not happy about this and they fire me! Damn. So much for what I did the prior two seasons. And most of my woes on this season were from you not letting me upgrade the squad to compete. So whatever I don't want to skipper for you anyways.

Then when the job openings come up, pretty much every team in Mexico, France league 2, Itally league 2, Germany league 2, Portugal, Spain league 2, etc etc, and most of the FL teams have an open job. But since I was fired, I figured it best not to take one of those jobs. I went with the more realistic approach (since I knew no matter what I picked it would give me the job) I signed with a team in Everderises (that is probably way off base on the spelling, sorry). And I can't remember the name of the team. I chose the one with the higher wage budget. There was only two of them. It was the lower of the league jobs being offered. I didn't want to go back to league 1 so figured this was the better choice. I haven't done anything with the new team yet, just signed, saved and turned it off. Still can't believe I was fired.

Just started a career with Napoli because my ancestors lived nearbye Naples years ago.

Got win #1 at home in the opening friendly against Hertha BSL (Berlin, Germany). Win 4-2 with 2 goals coming from Gonzalo Higuaín and 2 goals coming from Pandev.

My next challenge is on the road against Fullham, followed up by a SUPER tough matchup that I'm looking forward to, as we'll host FC Barcelona in Naples, Italy.

Hey guys what difficulty do you guys play on?...im really struggling to get some victorys on Pro difficulty because i can't score much...i have alot of 0-0 or 1-1 draws...I feel that pro is a great challenge tho...especially for a newbie like me.

Heck, when I first started I was getting 1-0, 2-0, 1-1 games on the easiest level! Semi-Pro seems to fit pretty good for a newbie. Maybe one step up from Semi would be good too.

Everton / USA - year 2. I have been having fun with this Manager Career so far, only game I have wanted to play on xbone lately. 1st year was nothing special, good enough to keep job and get into Euros. Team USA I took to quarters of WC, with loss to Uruguay. I have been working on depth of squad in the 4 transfer windows, mainly bringing in USA and Colombian talent. Most of which are just depth and spot starters with all the matches to play between EPL, Euros, and FA cup. I am in a 3 way tie at top of table with ManU and Man City at 63 points. I play every other match, sim others. Everton or aka USA EPL has numerous USA prospects who im trying develop and then sell off to other euro teams, to continue progression of US squad:

Anyone else run into an issue with players not progressing? I've had Yedlin on my team for two years now. And he is still a 72. Is that his max? Is his potential limit a 72? He tears it up even for that rating. But it just seems weird that everyone else goes up a point or two, some times three or four each year. But he never moves. This last season he had 10 assists, 8 goals and an average of 8.2. And if hes on the ball he always wins it. Hes a beast of a RB. So not sure why hes not advancing. His value doesn't even go up.

I got some beef with the player management in this game, and player AI.

First off, whats up with every player thinking they deserve to be paid top dollar for playing off the bench. Seriously dude, I play you in 10 games a year because you are a developing player who is currently lower rated than the four guys ahead of you. You are the lowest player on the totem. Why do you think you deserve $30,000 a week?

Also, whats up with players demanding playing time when they are in poor form. And then getting pissed and going behind my back to the board, who then forces me into a sale of the player unless I play them or give them more money. Ugh, **** you, your not playing another second now. And I'll be damned if I will loan you out. Oh, whats that I have to sell you because the board the just took an offer for half of your value. Thats bull****.

I want to see some serious changes to this in the next game. I want to be able to set goals for my players. Like is done for you in the Pro mode. Why can't I tell my main ST that I want him to score x goals this season or something. And if he makes that mark he gets a bonus or a pay increase.

I want to be able to set these types of goals for everyone on the roster. The up and comers, the rotation players, everyone. I'll play you more/give you more money if you hit these goals over the next 5 games, etc etc.

The whole player management part of it just feels sorely lacking and a lot of the pre canned things that always popup just don't always fit and I find it somewhat lame. I mean every season someone who is good on your team asks you to look at their contract. And then they don't sign it unless you give them way more than they asked. If you give them what they asked for they say they wont sign and are looking to move on. Blah blah blah. Every season. And then there is the one dude who complains about his playing playing time. No matter how low on the rotation he is. He could be a 50 rated player, who is 35 years old. And he will complain you don't play him more.

Having more contact and interaction features would make this so much better. Player sit downs, either by request of the player or by you to talk to the player. Setting goals, long term and short term. Better contract negotiations. And on that note, other teams actually offering me a job instead of me applying for it. Or I have an agent myself who emails me about job openings he thinks I should apply for, meaning I have a good shot at it. More overall depth, and less of the same thing every season.

Freaking ManU! ! I have them as opponent for top spot in EPL, FA Cup Final, and you guessed it....Euro Cup final. Ugggh. I am up 1 point in EPL with 3 matches to go, play ManU next. I played FA Cup Final in a classic back and forth match that went to extra time tied 1-1, they got a goal from rooney on a rebound and I got a goal from Dempsey on a corner. End of extra time just seconds away from penalty kicks, ManU on a counter with perfect unbelievable passing, where by defenders decide to act stupid, Van Persie 1 on 1 with Howard, ManU wins. Uggh I took loss but it looked and felt scripted. Now I get to play them 2 more times in current week with EPL and Euro titles on line. Im excited I got team into place to win some, but after ManU has won Capital One and FA cups, looks like they are going to get 4 titles. Wish me luck, I would like to at least 1 out of 2.

After spending two full season at Palermo and in the middle of my third I applied for the job at Man City.

In the first season with Palermo I gained promotion. Then in the second season I finished 5th and qualified for euros. I ended up building up a fantastic squad (4*). And now that I moved I miss some of my players.

In the third season with Palermo I was in first in our group in the euros with 11 points after 5 games. And I was in third in the league standings. It was mid December and on a whim I checked the job offers. The only one there was Man City. I thought no way they will give me the job, but I will apply and see.

And then they did offer me the job. And without thinking about it, I took it. And then immediately regretted it. I spent so much time building that squad at Palermo. I kinda wish I would have saved it before so I could go back and play between the two saves.

First thing I did was add a few of the old players to my list and send a "hey what do you want for this player" to the new manager. Outrageous prices.

And with Man City in the first three I am 2-1-0. And currently sitting in 5th on the table. Only 9 points out of first. My two wins were against the bottom two teams.

One thing that bothers me is on the job page it said they had $119M for transfer funds. I get the job and its $8M.

I am expected to win the title. I think I can do that, but not sure I will be able to. These last three games seemed way harder than any game in Serie A, expect maybe against Milan or Juventus.

I also took the job last season with USA. I was holding out waiting for them to offer. I turned down a bunch of them waiting for that one. Qualifying for the 2018 WC should start this off season. I've only played a few friendlies with them so far.

I can't stop playing this game. And I can't wait for 15 in September.
