No problem and thanks for the recommendation! Looking forward to the next Dagenham update mate!

hands down the best game of this round in the Capital One Cup. It's not even close.

And as I typed that Brentford ties it at 6. UNBELIEVABLE.

Wow this must be some kind of record we went through over a page in just 1 hour.
Argh! Vrabbit I know your pain I can't find a link for this match (Dagenham 6-5 Brentford) all hail the 11 goal thriller.

EDIT: Make that 12 goal thriller what a match!

two of our PK's were saved and we weren't able to save one. Brentford wins the PK's 4-2 after a 6-6 game. That hurts. Brentford is getting a beatdown in my Dagenham CM any time they come up against us again

Wigan, Wolves, Blackburn, Ipswich, and Blackpool are among Championship sides knocked out.
Will Brentford join them? I can't wait to find out. Which I could watch live.

                          EDIT: It's time for penalties.

EDIT: Brentford win 4-2 on penalties. What......A.......Match. Hopefully we'll see more like that this season

EDIT: I didn't realize Vrabbit posted the score before I even said "time for penalties".

                            League Objective: Fight for Promotion

                            Capitol One Cup
                            York City 0 - 2 Northampton
                            Moore 54‘
                            Collins 57‘

What a match the game was a deadlock all game except for the 5 minutes in which we scored twice. Those five minutes were the only real chances anybody had to score all game. Also good to see Luke Moore score his first goal.

                            League
                            Torquay 1 - 2 Northampton

                            Moore 84‘

Torquay United who are in last place with no wins and no draws gave us a run for our money win they equalized against the run of play and put a lot of pressure on us but Luke Moore was there to save the day, he has been an excellent signing.

                            League
                            Northampton 4 - 3 Portsmouth

                            Moore 9‘
                            Marquis 25‘
                            Jervis 32‘
                            Jervis 61‘ (PEN)
                            Hollands 71‘
                            Carter 72‘

A match that we held a 3-0 lead in the 25 minute but after that Portsmouth scored 3 to bring the game to a tie but Carter was able to score the deciding goal to make sure we didn’t lose points. All in all this win helps us put some decent between first and second because before this match Portsmouth was second.

                            League
                            AFC Wimbledon 0 - 2 Northampton
                            Carter 50‘ (PEN)
                            Marquis 70‘

Wimbledon played a very defensive game and we had trouble breaking them down but referee Ashley Boroughbridge made a questionable call in the 50th minute when the Wimbledon defender touched the ball away and Luke Moore fell much to easily against is old team and earned a penalty and the Wimbledon fans were furious! But later on the Wimbledon goalkeeper later rolled the ball out to Marquis and he had an easy finish.

                            Capital One Cup
                            Northampton 2 - 1 Walsall
                            Marquis 42‘
                            Ngoo 43‘
                            Marquis 58‘

Played a young team that showed their potential though it seemed when we scored they were a bit to happy and ended up conceding straight off of kickoff but other than that lapse of concentration they all played very well.

                            League
                            Northampton 0 - 0 Chesterfield
A boring game. Chesterfield was very organized defensively and where able to keep us away from their goal. Each team only had one shot on target.

                            TABLE:

                            1. Northampton - 25 pts
                            2. S****horpe Utd - 20 pts
                            3. Rockdale - 20 pts
                            4. Hartlepool - 19 pts
                            5. Portsmouth - 19 pts
                            6. Bristol Rovers - 18 pts
                            7. Chesterfield - 17 pts

                            Youth Academy:

                            Joe Connell - England - 15 - Position ? - Overall 38-48 - Potential 73- 93

                            Q. This month saw Ramy Rabia called up to the Egypt national team what do you think about that?

                            A. It’s great! He may not be the best player in the squad but he works hard and he will be very good one day I’m glad he got the chance to play for Egypt.

                            Q. This month also saw the team drop points for the first time sense you have been in charge what happened?

                            A. Chesterfield played well and deserved the point they got. They were very organized and we couldn’t break them. Its just the way the cookie crumbled today.

                            Q. Do you think you will start dropping more points now?

                            A. Of course not. We dropped a couple of points but we are still five points ahead of second place and we intend to keep it that way.

                            Q. You have signed someone to your youth academy now, how long do you expect him to be there?

                            A. He will stay there until I think he is ready and call him up or he does not progress well and is released, so how ever long that takes he will be in the academy.

                            Q. What do you think of your chances of being promoted?

                            A. I believe we have the best chance to be promoted compared to anyone else in the league but we still must work hard and keep winning. Thanks that’s all I have time for today.

Played a young team that showed their potential though it seemed when we scored they were a bit to happy and ended up conceding straight off of kickoff but other than that lapse of concentration they all played very well.

                              Northampton 0 - 0 Chesterfield
A boring game. Chesterfield was very organized defensively and where able to keep us away from their goal. Each team only had one shot on target.

Wow you are just bossing that league well done! Still undefeated and only dropped points from one draw. Your in great shape for league 1 with the great work your doing now. Keep it up.

Hammill gave Huddersfield the lead after breaking down the wing to slot in. Seaborne headed in from new signing Pugh's excellent corner and Dagnall headed in to give us the lead from another new signings cross, DJ Campbell. Azogue then slot in under the keeper late on to make sure of progression.

In the opening game of the season, we faced one of the relegated sides, but also our fierce rivals. Blyth gave them the lead on the rebound but new signing DJ Campbell slotted in to give us an unexpected point.

                                Moussa 90

What a game. It was given the main slot on the Football League Show, that's how good it was. Hooper curled in the opener for the Royals but Blair Adams volleyed in on the rebound. Eccleston tackled the defender and smashed in before Hooper powered home an equaliser. Moussa curled in to give us the lead before Blackman slotted in to equalise again. Clarke headed in from a corner and Moussa raced clear to smash into the top corner to settle the win.

                                Match 4

Majewski curled in the opener but Dagnall managed to find the bottom corner late on.

                                Match 5

                                Ings 90

Pugh smashed in the opener from 20 yards for a stunning first goal for the club. Unfortunately, Ings' effort would have been comfortably saved but it took a lethal deflection and found the bottom corner in stoppage time.
