I'm on world class, HOWEVER I do look forward to a potential return to the English League 2 in which case I would bump it up to Legendary. I don't want to achieve back to back promotions like I did with World Class so I feel Legendary would make it a lot more realistic and challenging. I won't be making the switch while at Osasuna because I'm kind of forced to finish in the Top 6 now, and as Tex said when you're playing with low division teams you don't really care that much about finishing top of the table certainly not right away

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
I play on world class but I really think I should have started my career on legendary for at least League 1 and 2. In my next career i might try Legendary once i've finished my current career (or I might switch it now that i'm in the Premier League to make it a lot more challenging)Current FIFA Careers:
VfL Bochum (Season 15) (FIFA 15)
Wexford Youths (Season 3) (FIFA 17)Comment

Friendly Matches:Exeter City 0 – FC Augsburg 1
FC Metz 0 – Exeter City 1
Exeter City 3 – AS Nancy 1
Barclays Premier League Match:
Chelsea 1 – Exeter City 1
EXE – Appiah (26’)Exeter City look a little taken aback as Stamford Bridge erupts as soon as the game gets under way. It’s by far the loudest stadium the team has ever been in and this is a brand new experience for the players. The first twenty-five minutes are uneventful until Saiz Alonso dispossesses Andre Schürrle and Exeter go on the counter attack. Alonso cuts in and squares the ball to Appiah who turns and dangerously sprints towards goal. Appiah tries to pick a pass through the defence but the ball deflects off Kurt Zouma. The ball goes back to the attacker and now he’s through on goal. He then slots it into the bottom left corner past Courtois. The newly promoted team are in front against last year’s champions!
CHE –Oscar (90’+1’)A corner is delivered into the box and it’s cleared back to Andre Schürrle who then redelivers it. It’s cleared once again to the edge of the box. A one-two allows Oscar to have some space and shoot but Mabil makes a great save. A bad clearance from Gomez gives the ball back to Oscar who controls it then smashes it into the top left corner. Unfortunate for Exeter...
Our Best Performer: Glen Mabil
Making their Debut: Robert Bauer, Jason Banton, Luis Paredes
Barclays Premier League Match:
Exeter City 3 – Southampton 2
EXE –Banton (28’)The ball’s cleared badly away by Jack Stephens and Saiz Alonso can head the ball down to Sercombe in the midfield. He gives the ball to Appiah who tears open the defence with his pace. He runs into the box, cuts back and rolls the ball to Banton who sprints forward and smashes the ball with his weaker left foot past Begovic and Exeter are now one-nil up.
SOU – Tadic (72’)Southampton finally break Exeter City’s defence down as Mayuka holds the ball up on the edge of the penalty area. He then slots the ball into Tadic who smashes the ball past Mabil.
SOU – Mayuka (79’)Steven Davis lifts the ball over the defence and into the feet of Emmanuel Mayuka who should be tackled by Moore-Taylor but all he does is fling his leg at the ball which the attacker dances around easily which allows him to easily slide the ball past the keeper and into the far corner.
EXE – Feudjou (84’)Alan Morgunov whips the ball into the box from a corner on the right. Feudjou makes a lengthy run to shake his marker and nip in front of the defender at the near post to head the ball past the keeper.
EXE – Appiah (88’)Robert Bauer bursts down the right and delivers a low cross into the box for Kwabena Appiah who just gets enough of a touch on it to take it past Begovic and into the bottom far corner.
Our Best Performer: Kwabena Appiah
Making their Debut: Alan Morgunov
Barclays Premier League Match:
Hull City 1 – Exeter City 2
HUL –Sagbo (10’)Ahmed Elmohamady cuts in from the right wing and slots the ball behind the defence for Yannick Sagbo to flick the ball into the far corner.
EXE – Appiah (59’)Kwabena Appiah gets the ball on the half-way line and gives the ball to Reece Brown who sprints at the defenders. He spots the continued run of Appiah and threads the ball through the defence to him. He opens up his body to slide the ball into the bottom right corner, clipping the upright as it goes in.
EXE –Appiah (64’)Reise Allassani gives the ball to the in-form Appiah who runs at the defence. He picks a pocket of space and bursts into it, beating all the defenders for pace. Eldin Jakupović rushes out but Appiah hits the ball over his outstretched leg and into the bottom left corner, once again, clipping the post before going in.
It’s outstanding that Exeter City had eleven shots and only two were actually on target and both of those were goals.
Our Best Performer: Kwabena Appiah

Youth Academy:
Aaron Davis. (United States) 15 years old 64-72 OVR 86-94 POT
- This 5’10 right-footer looks to be an amazing striker or left midfielder. His best attributes are his heading accuracy, shot power, finishing and ball control.
Evan Davies (United States) 15 years old 58-64 OVR 75-83 POT
- Evan Davies is a left-back who’s left-footed and stands at 6’1. His interceptions and his sliding tackles seem to be what his is most skilled at.

Press Conference:
Q:What a great way to start the season with that near-win against Chelsea and you’re unbeaten in your first three Premier League games which is outstanding due to the fact that you’ve just been promoted into the league.
A:Thank you. The team has just been amazing since I’ve come here and the fans make our games have a different dimension that you cannot get at any other stadium, so I would like to thank everyone involved with the club because they have been the reason for our success.
Q:What position do you will think you will finish in, in the Premier League?
A:It’s way too early in the season to predict upon but I hope to be in the section that’s in between the middle of the table and the relegation zone.
Manager’s Thoughts:
I really can’t believe how well we’ve played in those last couple of matches. To nearly beat Chelsea and be unbeaten against some very good teams really is pleasing to see even if it is only the first month of the season.
Most of my new signings have been brilliant. Robert Bauer has been quite solid in the LDM role when coming on as a substitute. His work rate is not the same as either Liam Sercombe or Saiz Alonso but he’s reliable enough that he won’t bomb up the field and that he’ll be available to defend if we’re caught on the counter-attack. Jason Banton looks a sharp replacement for Paris Cowan-Hall. He has amazing acceleration so he’s able to get past the full backs and even cut in a couple of times. Jason also seems to be drifting into the midfield at just the right times to get onto something. He seems to be a ‘replacement’ if Appiah gets out of position which is very useful. Luis Paredes wasn’t in good form in the Chelsea game which I decided to start him in. He was a little slow and didn’t have much luck on his side. He usually was a little out of position and his first touches weren’t great. I hope he improves for the next time I decide to choose him.
I had a bit of free time to watch a game that Aaron Davis played in for the youth squad. He was amazing! I don’t really like saying this but no one could hold a candle up to him. His finishing was sublime and he managed to score twice in the game that I saw him in. I’m looking forward to when the fifteen year old American is old enough to join the senior team and prove that he has what it takes to overthrow Kwabena Appiah for the striker spot. Only time will tell if he can or not.

Season 1
FIFA 15 XB1
October Update
Juventus v. Roma
3—2
Asamoah 14’, 65’; Vidal 25’
De Rossi 30’; Gervinho 43’
This game features the top 2 teams in Serie A. Juventus leads the league with 13 points and Roma has 12 points. First real chance by Asamoah, he had a strong shot that hits the keeper’s hands and goes into the back of the net. Marchisio with a great lobbed through ball to a sprinting Vidal who tucked into a low corner. After a horrible clearing attempt Roma gets the ball onto the feet of Daniele De Rossi. Buffon parries away a shot attempt and Gervinho buries the rebound. Nothing happens until the 65th minute where Asamoah buries a shot far post.
MOTM: Asamoah
Bayern v. Juventus
3—2
Lewandowski 43, 45’; Alonso 80’
Marchisio 26’; Pereya 83’
Raul Hilton received great news during the international break as his main strikers Tevez, and Llorente were able to return for this pivotal game against the German powerhouse known as Bayern Munich. Bayern gets awarded a bull**** penalty and Robben goes bar down and misses. Marchisio gets a steal and then dribbles around the Bayern defense and shoots top and finishes to give Juventus the lead. Lewandowski ties it for Bayern in the 43rd minute off an assist from Robben. And then in stoppage time he hits a long header past Buffon. Xabi Alonso makes it 3-1 in the 80th but Pereya cuts the lead back to 1 a couple minutes later.

Manager's Comments:
So we have just finished off the month of October. We were in great form coming into the month by not losing a game in September. We kept that going against Roma. But then we hit a wall against Bayern after having more than a week off between games due to the international break. We came out flat in that game and sadly that carried over our next two games. But we finished the month strong with back to back shutouts of Palermo and Genoa. Looking to next month we start the month off against the worst team in Serie A @ Empoli and then we head to Turkey to face Gala in a Champions League group stage match.
Upcoming Games:
@ Empoli
@ Gala
vs. Parma
vs. LOSC Lille
vs. Torino
any feedback is appreciatedLast edited by redsox4evur; 03-21-2015, 07:22 PM.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
I would personally recommend it. For me, on legendary it seemed that I was able to score too easily just using a player with pace. It didn't always work, but often enough to where I decided to bump it up. I like that I am forced to score more team goals now and work the ball around.Comment

Deportivo La Coruña
FIFA 15 - Season 1
Blanquiazules’
September 2014
SD Eibar 1 - RC Deportivo 2
EIB - Arruabarrena 15'
DEP - Perez 45', Cavaleiro 54'
MOTM: Del Moral
Manu found Arruabarrena in space up the middle and he was able to hit it with a first time strike into the top right corner. Just before half Juan Dominguez fired a shot from inside the box that was deflected and landed right at Perez's feet to slot home past the keeper for the equalizer. Cuenca beat the defense down the right wing and took the ball to the end line before sending a low cross into the box for Cavaleiro to tap in on the back post for the winning goal.
RC Deportivo 1 - Real Madrid 3
DEP - Perez 77'
RMA - Aguero 38', Ronaldo 60', Khedira 90'
MOTM: Aguero
Aguero opened it up after a great through ball from Ronaldo got him open on the right side of the goal. He controlled it and then fired with his right foot inside the far left post. Marcelo tried to send a cross in but it was deflected straight up into the air inside the 6 yard box. Ronaldo seemingly got away with shoving the defender out of the way before blasting the ball off the crossbar and in to double the lead. After a Real Madrid corner was cleared, the ball was pushed ahead to Perez on the counter. He beat Modric and then Ramos on his way to the right side of the goal and fired a strong shot to the top left corner. Aguero played the ball from the left side to the top edge of the box for Khedira to hit first time directly at the keeper. However, in a poor display of goal keeping, the ball bounced off of the keeper and into the net on what should have been a routine save.
Galician Derby
Celta Vigo 2 - RC Deportivo 5
CEL - Lopez 60', Nolito 90'
DEP - Riera 66', 87', Insua 71', Valeron 74', Bergantiños 81'
MOTM: Cuenca
Hernandez broke free down the right wing and sent a cross into the box that found Lopez between two defenders for a header into the top right corner. Cuenca sent a corner into the box and picked out Riera for a strong header into the top left corner. Cuenca lined up another corner, this time picking out Insua in the box for a looping header that settled in the left side of the goal. Cuenca then beat his man on the right wing and cut the ball inside before playing it to Valeron for a quick shot that was deflected, but fell right back to him for the easy finish. Valeron played the ball to Medunjanin on the left side of the box and he jumped over a tackle before picking out Bergantiños on the back post with a low cross for the tap in. After winning yet another corner, Valeron sent it in this time on the near post and Riera was able to head it inside the top right corner. Nolito pulled one back with a late consolation goal from the middle of the box that he placed in the bottom right corner of the net.
RC Deportivo 1 - UD Almeria 0
DEP - Medunjanin 90' (PEN)
MOTM: Ruben
A few scattered chances throughout the match led to nothing after both keepers put in amazing performances. Almeria's best chance came in the 64th minute when Verza stepped up for a penalty and Lux was able to read it perfectly and make the save. In the 90th minute Perez attacked down the left side of the goal and attempted to send a low cross in only to have Dos Santos take him down with a sliding challenge from behind. Medunjanin placed the penalty to the right, and even though the keeper guessed right, he saw it hit the back of the net for the deciding goal.
League Table
Abegondo Academy
N/A
Deportivo La Coruña Player of the Month
Lucas Perez
Lucas Perez was impressive this month scoring 2 goals, and drawing the decisive penalty against Almeria that led to the win. He has been an important link in the midfield with Haris Medunjanin and Juan Dominguez who as a group have been able to control games for Deportivo.
Manager Comments
Juan Dominguez - Good news and bad news regarding Juan Dominguez this month. The good news is that we have reached an agreement with him to extend his contract through 2017. The bad news is that he has suffered a broken rib against Almeria and will likely miss the next 3 months. This is a blow for us considering the form he had been in and the partnership he had developed with Medunjanin in the midfield.
Consistency - Another month is past and we are still sitting in 2nd in the table. We are very proud to still be in this spot, but we know that the hardest is still to come. Our biggest challenge yet was against Real Madrid, and they showed us what a true world class team is capable of. There is a long way to go, but we are performing better than most had expected from us.
Academy Update - We have started to narrow down players to keep an eye on throughout Spain. Although we haven't committed to signing anyone yet, there are 3 players specifically that have a chance to become the first player added this year. Our hopes are high, and we know that each player we add is an important piece for our future.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Ha Ho He
May 2015
Hertha BSC 0 - 0 Borussia Mönchengadbach
(played on Legendary)
The game between two top five teams was meant to be a very exciting and action-packed match but it wasn't that at all. There were only three shots on target in the whole game and pretty much everything that happened was the two teams passing the ball around.
Borussia Dortmund 2 - 1 Hertha BSC
Reus 21', 45'
Kalou 90'
(played on Legendary)
With this victory Borussia Dortmund need only one point from the two remaining games to win. Dortmund were dominant and controlled the tempo of the game. They got the lead halfway through the first half with a beautifully placed free kick by Marco Reus. The winger went ahead and got a brace in stoppage time from the penalty spot. Hertha tried to equalise the game but they failed at that. Salomon Kalou managed to pull just one back in stoppage time after cutting in from the right.
Hertha BSC 3 - 1 Eintracht Frankfurt
Stocker 43', Kalou 57', Ronny 84'
Aigner 21'
The Berliners needed all three points from this game to remain in a good position in the fight for Europa League spots. Things didn't start off well when Stefan Aigner was left unmarked in the box and he scored from a low cross with a nice volley. After that Hertha went on the attack and really looked for the equalising goal. They got it in the 43rd minute when the ball from a corner fell to Valentin Stocker right at the edge of the box. The attacking midfielder took control of the ball, let it hit the ground once and he shot it with the outside of his foot to the top left corner! Fifteen minutes later Salomon Kalou got his 20th league goal of the season when he dribbled around a defender in the box before positioning the ball into the bottom right corner. Half an hour later Änis Ben-Hatira started a counter attack by playing Kalou through on goal. The Ivorian passed the ball Ronny inside the box and he had an easy job tapping it into the net. Roy Beerens got injured for three months in the game.
1899 Hoffenheim - Hertha BSC
Hamburger SV - Schalke 04
Going into the final game of the season the situation was like this: Hertha BSC were in sixth, two points ahead of Schaiße - I mean Schalke- 04. Hertha had a better goal difference and a draw was everything they needed to qualify for the Europa League through the league. Schalke on the other hand were also qualified through the cup: Bayern and Dortmund were the two finalists but because both of them had already qualified for the Champions League the team in seventh qualifies for the Europa League. It was more about pride and the amount of prize money at this point. Hertha Berlin were up against Hoffenheim away from home and Schalke faced HSV, also away.
Hertha BSC started the game in average fashion. They abused the wings like they always do but Andreas Beck on the right didn't let almost anything go past him. They had a few chances but they were all saved by Baumann in goal. Hoffenheim also had a few good attacks but Hertha's defence had a good game, too.
Half time: 1899 Hoffenheim 0 - 0 Hertha BSC
...........Hamburger SV 0 - 1 Schalke 04
The second half started. Hertha knew that the result at the moment would satisfy them but Hoffenheim could've taken the lead and ruin the game. The Berliners continued attacking and they had some chances from range and from the box that were saved by Baumann. The 90th minute was closing and Ronny hit the post with a longshot. A few minutes later Valentin Stocker hit the crossbar. It felt like the net was under some kind of a spell. Then the fourth official put his board in the air showing the amount of stoppage time: two minutes. Hertha tried hard to score and then it happened. Valentin Stocker ran into the box and he was taken down! The referee rightfully gave the penalty and Salomon Kalou stepped up to take it. Every second felt like a minute for the Berliners. The Ivorian took a few steps backwards, started his run, shot the ball to the right of the keeper... and it went it! Hertha BSC had taken the lead with the last kick of the game! The referee blew his whistle right after the game was re-started. Hertha had finished in sixth!
Full time: 1899 Hoffenheim 0 - 1 Hertha BSC
..........Hamburger SV 1 - 1 Schalke 04
Player of the Season
Salomon Kalou
Kalou was the league top scorer with his 21 goals and he secured loads of points for his team. Without him Hertha BSC couldn't have finished in sixth like they did. Sadly Kalou is getting older but the board of the club still believes in him.

Pal Dardai Resigns!
After a very successful season as the co-manager of Hertha BSC the Hungarian coach has resigned. Dardai said that the job wasn't the right one for him and that he prefers to concentrate on coaching Hungary. Surprisingly only three days after he said that it was announced that Dardai will coach Hertha's U-23's as well. Simon Müller will continue as the lone manager.
Transfer Budget: €30,000,000
Wage Budget: €140,000
The season was a very successful one and I'm actually glad that we didn't make it into the Champions League. The career will go on for longer. The budget surprised me a lot but I'm very, very happy about it. It will allow me to sign everyone I want (well, it allowed me to sign pretty much everyone I wanted). I'm enjoying this career a lot and I hope you're enjoying it, as well. The squad review will be up later today.
Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

Match 9
Real Zaragoza 1-1 Sporting Gijón
Pedro 67'
Scepovic 73'
MotM: Iván Cuéllar
It took until the 67th minute for the deadlock to be broken and it came in the form of Pedro Sánchez smashing home a rebound on the volley. Fernández crossed it in and Cuéllar flapped at it making it bounce out into the box. Pedro was the first to react and he put it away continuing his great form.
Pedro smashing home the rebound.
The joy was short lived however when league top scorer Scepovic pounced on a defensive mistake to level on 73 minutes. We didn't deserve to only get a point from this game. Even though they hit the crossbar we had more chances than them and should have taken them.

Liga Adelante
Match 10
Girona CF 0-3 Real Zaragoza
Esnáider 6' (Pérez)
Suárez 45' (Esnáider)
Tarsi 57'
MotM: Esnáider
Esnáider got his first start with the B team as we tried a 4-4-2 Diamond Wide. The striker scored in just the 6th minute heading a chipped through ball, from Pérez, past the Girona keeper. Suárez won the ball off Escribano and then he slid rashly in from behind earning himself a red card and reducing Girona to 10 men. We took advantage by pressed for a second and after missing several chances it came on the brink of halftime. Pérez won the ball on the left off Gómez and then played it into the middle where Esnáider was the waiting. He had all the time in the world to slide a pass through to Suárez who finished it first time past Becerra. The lead was extended to 3-0 on 57 minutes when Eldin sent in a cross that Suárez attacked at the front post. Richy beat him to the header but only headed it down into the 6 yard box where Tarsi controlled it and tapped into the net. We controlled the game from then on and although Girona had some chances Óscar Whalley was well up to the task.

Liga Adelante
Match 11
Real Zaragoza 1-0 Deportivo Alavés
Munir 16' (Pen)
MotM: Óscar Whalley
The B team played again because of the Cops Del Rey match in 3 days. There was only one change made, Munir for Suárez. Pérez was absolutely clattered inside the box by Mudina to give us a penalty and Munir his first goal for the club when he sent Manu the wrong way.
Munir coolly converts from 12 yards.
Towards the end Alavés really started to turn up the pressure but with 7 saves Óscar Whalley took home Man of the Match and kept us in it with some really excellent saves. Munir played extremely good up top getting 4 shots on target and narrowly missing out on Man of the Match.
Oct 22nd
Cops Del Rey
Round 1
Real Zaragoza 5-2 CD Lugo
López 4' (Pen)
Fernández 19' (Borja)
Luis Fernández 23'
Ruiz de Galarreta 37' (Porcar)
Álamo 45' (Pen)
Pedro 77'
Mario 83' (Pedro)
MotM: Pedro Sánchez
The game started terribly with Mario shoving Pelayo over inside the area giving López the opportunity to score from the spot, which he did right into the bottom left corner. Alcolea went the right way but was unable to reach it. Borja dragged the centre half out of position leaving space for Fernández in behind to run onto his pass and take one touch into the box before burying the ball into the bottom left corner. But then Luis Fernández scored just 4 minutes later. He shot on the turn into the bottom right corner past Alcolea. Ruiz de Galarreta leveled the game again with a near post header after some great work and dribbling by Porcar to get the cross in. Ruiz de Galarreta was involved again this time winning a penalty off Pavón after he slid in and took him out. Álamo confidently dispatched it to give us the lead going into halftime. Porcar again did excellent work to make room for the cross from inside the box and David de Coz miss judged the header, while José Juan just stood there meaning Pedro had an easy header into the net. Mario then out muscled Pavón to beautifully head home a Pedro corner into the net. On a 5-2 scoreline we advance to Round of 32 against Málaga.
Oct 25th
Liga Adelante
Match 12
CD Tenerife 2-1 Real Zaragoza
Ifrán 3'
Eldin 48' (Munir)
Ifrán 61'
MotM: Diego Ifrán
Basha mistimed a challenge about 5 yards outside the box giving away the free kick. Ifràn confidently stood up and placed it in the bottom corner past Óscar Whalley.
Óscar Whalley just misses the ball.
The second half came after some more chances for both teams ended the first 45 minutes. Whatever Keane said at halftime worked when Eldin scored just 3 minutes in. Munir turned a few yards from the edge of the box and played a little ball into Eldin who was being played onside by the left back, García. He took a touch and placed it around Jacobo.
Eldin equalizes.
But Rubén left Ifrán run onto a through ball and he finished it along with the match as we wasted many chances to equalize. A second defeat now in the league.
Oct 29th
Liga Adelante
Match 13
Real Zaragoza 1-0 RC Recreativo
Borja 43' (Ruiz de Galarreta)
MotM: Ruiz de Galarreta
To end the month we faced RC Recreativo at home and after dominating for the first 40 minutes Borja put us ahead. He received the ball with his back to goal outside the area. He knocked it to his left into space and made his way into the box taking his shot just as Zamora missed his challenge. The ball went straight into the bottom right corner past a motionless Sotres.
Borja's clean strike.
We had some more opportunities in the second 45 minutes but we focused on keeping the defence solid, which we did and in doing so came away with 3 points to end the month on a good note.
Real Zaragoza Player of the Month
Pedro Sánchez - RM, 68 (+1) Ovr, 27, Spain
The winger is an important player for Zaragoza and in 3 games he scored twice and set up another goal. He also was constantly winning the ball back and was a menace on the left wing for right fullbacks this month.

Juventus v. Roma

@ Empoli

Angelino was an interesting signing and I'll be looking forward to seeing how he develops. You started the season with 2 very good wins and then this month was quite good as well. Aside from the Real loss but they are a good side. You also won your Derby which is always a plus! Sitting 2nd in the table is great work and long may the form continue in the coming months!

SpoilerMay 2015
Hertha BSC 0 - 0 Borussia Mönchengadbach
Spoiler(played on Legendary)

Pedro 67'

Bayern v. Juventus

@ Empoli
@ Gala
vs. Parma
vs. LOSC Lille
vs. Torino

Pretty much good results excluding the Sassuolo and Bayern games. You should be able to win the league.

West Ham United - Episode #59: Dat Guy Dybala
In this episode, we try to take advantage of a bit easier stretch of schedule as we face bottom feeders Fulham and mid table Aston Villa in Premier League clashes.
Going to check out everyone's updates tonight after work as well!

Season 2
Starting Eleven (4-3-3 Holding)
* = Youth Academy Player
** = Player Growth Status
FORMAT= Position - Name (nationality) (overall + age) (growth)
GK - Asier Riesgo (Spain) (74 OVR 32yrs) (+1): 8/10
35 Appearances - 11 Clean Sheets & 1 Assist
The former Real Sociedad youth graduate proved that he has what it takes to play in La Liga, and held his spot the entire season. There were a few goals where it felt like he could have done more, but overall he did well. I do not plan on selling him, but I am still unsure if he will be with the first or B team next season. A lot of it also depends on how our goalkeepers in the academy develop.
RB - Ivan (Spain) (72 OVR 22yrs) (+1): 6/10
36 Appearances - 4 Assists
Ivan just kind of blended in all season. I was expecting him to be an attacking full back, like Hewitt was for me at Wimbledon, but he usually doesn't wander too far forward. When he did push forward he put in pretty good crosses and has the speed to drop back quickly. He will remain as our starting right back next season, but I do hope he improves his stats more since this season only his mental stats increased.
RCB - Miguel Flaño (Spain) (73 OVR 31yrs) (-1): 8/10
37 Appearances - 1 Goal
Our captain played well the entire season and continues to be a leader on the field with the team's good form. Despite playing every match with the first team, EA have been a little tough on him and he has went down 1 overall each season so far. If he doesn't get more points taken off during the offseason, he will continue to play an important role with the first team.
LCB - Raul Albentosa (Spain) (73 OVR 27yrs) (+2): 8/10
37 Appearances - 1 Goal & 1 Assist
Much better than last season where he was given a 7/10 rating. He has grown really well and plays just as well. With his height and strength in the box I hardly ever had to worry about an aerial challenge. Albentosa still has much to give Osasuna.
LB - Sisi (Spain) (73 OVR 31yrs) (+0): 8/10
29 Appearances - 2 Assists
Naturally a RM
Another player that improved from last season where he finished with a 6/10 rating. As a RW he was very inconsistent but as a LB he's found his form. Although the game continues to drop his physical stats almost every month especially when he was injured, he's still quick and agile enough to keep up with most wingers and his defensive work is actually really good despite his low defensive stats. With Marcos Alonso seemingly hitting his peak, and Xavier Quinti growing pretty slowly, Sisi will continue to play the same role next season. Unless of course the game takes his overall down a lot during the offseason, in which case Romeu will be anxious to try out for the position.
CDM - Sergi Darder (Spain) (73 OVR 22yrs) (+1): 7/10
37 Appearances - 1 Goal & 1 Assist
He may not be a naturally defensive midfielder but he's pulled his own weight. He's too slow to play as a box-to-box and his defensive stats are quite low so I'm hoping next season the rest of his stats other than the mental stats improve. He's a great passer though which allows him to get plays started from behind. If he starts next season the way he ended this one, he will continue to play the same role.
RCM - Victor Camarasa (Spain) (74 OVR 21yrs): 8/10
36 Appearances - 2 Goals & 3 Assists
He's been one of our most consistent players and usually when we're having a bad game he's the one that keeps pushing. His growth has been rather consistent and he's fulfilled his box-to-box role perfectly. I do not plan on replacing him.
LCM - Miguel De Las Cuevas (Spain) (72 OVR 29yrs) (-1): 7/10
36 Appearances - 6 Goals & 3 Assists
Naturally a CAM
He's been inconsistent this season, but nothing like last year. As we neared the end of the season and I started to figure out how to better utilize the player instructions, he began to shine in midfield. He finished the season really well so I hope he can carry that form through to next season. I don't understand why the game has been downgrading his stats when he hasn't even hit thirty and he plays every game with the first team.
RW - Federico Palacios (Spain) (65 OVR 20yrs) (+4): 9/10
35 Appearances - 16 Goals & 4 Assists
(Naturally a ST)
**On Loan From RB Leipzig
This guy. This guy has been the surprise of the season. A 65 OVR striker that actually tore defenders in La Liga apart and competed with Guillermo for Club Top Scorer. Needless to say I will definitely try to activate the future fee included in his loan contract. The fee is $500k and his value has increased to $650k this year so I hope Leipzig honor it.
ST - Guillermo (Spain) (75 OVR 22yrs) (+3): 9/10
29 Appearances - 17 Goals & 8 Assists
He scored less goals than last year, but he was also out for two months this season. Before his injury he was competing for league top scorer so we know he has what it takes to start in La Liga. His growth this season has made him the highest rated player in the squad, although he's far from being the best paid. De Las Cuevas is our highest earner with a $60k wage.
LW - Roberto Torres (73 OVR 27yrs) (+3): 8/10
37 Appearances - 8 Goals & 10 Assists
Naturally a CAM
The Pamplona native continues to be an important player for us and I believe he will continue to be so. This season he played really well at LW especially when I removed the instruction to stay forward. I can also bring him down to LCM where he also plays really well. He's worn the captains armband before IRL as he was working his way up to the senior team, which makes him a candidate to take captainship once Miguel Flaño steps aside.
Osasuna B-Team (Custom 4-3-3 Attack)
* = Youth Academy Player
** = Player Growth Status
FORMAT= Position - Name (nationality) (overall + age) (growth)
GK - Jose Antonio Rodriguez (Mexico) (71 OVR 23yrs) (+4): 9/10
17 Appearances - 6 Clean Sheets
He has grown really well and it's showed on the field. He had a great season with the B team, frequently being the one to keep the team alive. His only bad match was the 4-0 defeat to Tottenham, but even then he received the highest match rating. When used with the first team he usually gets clean sheets. If he continues to grow at this pace, he may become our first team goalkeeper next season.
*RB - Paré Bulhões Romeu (Spain) (73 OVR 17yrs) (+3): 7/10
16 Appearances - 1 Assist
**Has Potential To Be Special
(Naturally a RW)
The winger demanded a call up after the January window and he's backed it up since, never having a bad match. He's been used mainly as a fullback similar to Sisi, with the expectation of going forward in attack. He's done well, but he's shown good stuff in his natural position as well. I hope to use him more next season.
RCB - Jon Echaide (Spain) (70 OVR 28yrs) (+2): 7/10
15 Appearances
Decent. Not too good and not too bad. Just decent. The B Team relied a lot on Rodriguez, which needs to change.
LCB - Ignasi Miquel (Spain) (70 OVR 23yrs) (+2): 6/10
15 Appearances
He played well last season and I thought he could break into the first team this year, but he fell off and finished the season in bad form. He's still growing though so I'm hoping he can improve next season. If not, he may be replaced.
LB - Marcos Alonso (Spain) (68 OVR 25yrs) (+0): 7/10
17 Appearances - 2 Goals
Marcos Alonso finished last season as the starting left back for the first team, but this year he wasn't able to compete with Sisi. He still plays well though so he won't be replaced, but it seems he has yet his peak as far as overall goes. He will stay with the B team again next season unless he really makes a break.
RDM - Oier (Spain) (70 OVR 29yrs) (+0): 9/10
44 Appearances - 1 Goal & 5 Assist
He was a starter for the first team last season and even though he was taken down to the B team this year he's hardly complained. A good box-to-box midfielder that also does well coming off the bench for the first team. He will remain with the B team next season since his chances of returning to the first team are slim.
LDM - Nono (Spain) (67 OVR 22yrs) (+0): 7/10
20 Appearances - 2 Goals
The little I was able to see from him he did well, but I'm disappointed that he didn't see any increase in stats. Hopefully next season we start to see some growth because there is definitely talent here. He proved to be excellent at recovering the ball and getting plays started in attack with his great dribbling and passing skill. Even though they're not listed as his secondary positions, he can pretty much play anywhere in midfield. Looking forward to seeing this playmaker develop.
CAM - Jose Garcia (Spain) (61 OVR 19yrs) (+1): 7/10
15 Appearances - 1 Goal & 2 Assists
Despite his low overall, little Jose holds his own. The B team don't play the same without him, and even though he is easily overwhelmed by the opponent he still fights every ball with everything he has. This player is one of the main reasons why I chose to come to Osasuna, but unfortunately I think it's time I loaned him out. He's only grown 2 points overall in this career mode (that's an average of 1 per season!) so I hope that with a season out on loan he will grow a little more.
RW - Jose David Ramirez (Mexico) (64 OVR 20yrs) (+0): 6/10
35 Appearances - 2 Goals & 4 Assists
Last season he was humiliating fullbacks left and right in Liga Adelante, but he's had a tough time in La Liga. Anytime I subbed him in last season it meant there would be an unlimited supply of crosses into the box. This year he didn't challenge defenders as much and therefore didn't get into crossing positions as much either. He did have his good days where he was unstoppable down the wings and his crosses were spot on towards Kodro's head, but he had more matches where he just wouldn't try dribbling past his marker. I'll hold on to him until at least January. If he doesn't pick it up by then I'll have to review my options.
ST - Kenan Kodro (Spain) (63 OVR 22yrs) (+1): 9/10
25 Appearances - 10 Goals & 2 Assists
(Naturally a LM)
Kodro had a break through this season. Last year he was loaned out because he wasn't getting much playing time, and this year he was loan listed but midway through the window I removed him because I would be short on players. That was one of the smartest choices I made because I ended up finding a goal scorer. IRL he was recently given the #9 jersey and plays as a striker at times, so I decided to try him out there after Onwu fell off his form. He truly surprised me with his performances, not only with goals but the passes he would pull off. He's 6'3" and doesn't have good heading stats, but he still manages to get most headers on target. He's also not the strongest, which sucks because I would like my striker to be able to shield the ball more effectively. Regardless, he jumped up to 10 goals all scored after January and all with the B Team. He will play the same role next season and hopefully he can grow a little more since he'll be seeing more regular matches with the B team.
LW - Manuel Onwu (Spain) (66 OVR 28yrs) (+1): 6/10
20 Appearances - 5 Goals & 2 Assists
(Naturally a ST)
Onwu was excellent in Liga Adelante, but now in La Liga he has fallen out of form and was irregular throughout the season. His inconsistency is what allowed Kodro to show himself and take the striker position, which in turn forced Onwu to play out wide. As a winger he had his good moments, but as we neared the end of the season he became almost invisible on the field. I'm still not sure what I will do with him next season.
Reserves
* = Youth Academy Player
** = Player Growth Status
FORMAT= Position - Name (nationality) (overall + age) (growth)
*CDM - Paré Bulhões Vinuesa Ramos (Spain) (71 OVR 17yrs): N/A
2 Appearances
**Has Potential To Be Special
Recently promoted but participated in both matches after his call up. So far he looks promising and I plan to include him more next season.
RB - Javi Flaño (Spain) (68 OVR 31yrs) (-1): 7/10
16 Appearances - 2 Assists
With Romeu's promotion to the first team Javi was the one sacrificed in order to make room. He never stood out but he got the job done. Now with the reserves, he's made a few appearances at CDM where he's done well. If I can't offer him more playing time next season, I will have to consider transfer listing him.
LM - Julian Luque (Spain) (68 OVR 23yrs) (+2): 4/10
28 Appearances - 3 Goals & 1 Assist
What the hell happened to this guy? He was awesome in Liga Adelante, but in La Liga nobody has had a worse time than he has. As a winger he showed glimpses of hope, but in midfield he had no presence and we would often lose the midfield when he came in. Despite being in bad form he's still been growing in stats so it's not all bad. I'll still give him some time to pick himself up, but if he doesn't I may have to transfer list him in January.
RW - David Ferreiro (Spain) (67 OVR 27yrs) (+0): 5/10
30 Appearances - 4 Goals & 3 Assists
With the first team he played... Okay. Sometimes having an outstanding match and other times just a decent match. With Palacios' rise, Ferreiro was taken down to the B team, and then taken down to the reserves. He's been very poor since being dropped from the first team especially when he starts. Like Luque, I'll give him until January to pick it up. He seems to have hit his peak as he didn't grow a single stat all season, so I wouldn't be too hesitant of letting him go.
CM - Mikel Merino (Spain) (64 OVR 19yrs) (+0): 6/10
17 Appearances - 2 Assists
He didn't get as much playing time as last season but when he was called upon he delivered. Unfortunately, he hasn't grown at all since the start of this career mode, so I plan on loaning him out next season.

CA Osasuna Player of The Year
GK - Asier Riesgo (Spain) (74 OVR 32yrs) (+1): 8/10
35 Appearances - 11 Clean Sheets & 1 Assist
It was difficult to choose a player for this award, but in the end I think Riesgo deserves it. Guillermo was our top scorer for the second season in a row, but he missed two months due to injury. Palacios had a great season, but he's a loanee. I was in between Riesgo and Torres for this award, but ended up choosing Riesgo. He was one of our most consistent players all season long and even at his age he continues to improve his game. When Guillermo was out for injury and Palacios still hadn't blown up, it was Riesgo who stood up and kept us fighting at the top of the table. He's also never complained about his playing time even the times when Rodriguez has politely requested to play a certain match. I can throw Rodriguez in knowing that he won't give up any goals easily, Riesgo won't complain, and perhaps most importantly Riesgo won't go down in stats. Riesgo has been with us since my first season, and I hope he can stay longer!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Conclusion
As I've recently mentioned, my focus next transfer window will be centre backs. I want to bring in a top quality defender to get some more clean sheets in. Also if I'm gonna replace M. Flaño I want it to be a really good player who takes his place. Aside from that, I'm think I'm set. I was planning on bringing a top CDM but Darder improved his form in the final matches and plus I have Vinuesa Ramos who looks like a promising defensive mind in midfield. Really looking forward to seeing what Isma Lopez can do, but it might be tough finding a place for him since I have good attacking players in Guillermo, Palacios, Torres and Cuevas. The five of them will really have to fight it out. If Lopez does not work out I'll look into bringing in another winger. We need a natural winger up front.
Thanks For Reading!
Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
April was very strong and a point at Bayern is a good point! Kalou has been really in form as shown in May! Tough to loss to Dortmund but they were the Champions so no shame in that. You bounced back in the next game and then there was a really dramatic finale! No one could have made it up! Also I liked the backdrop to the final games and I look forward to another Simp transfer window!-Simppu12-
