Shame that the calendar is still forcing you to sim matches but at least your team still managed to win even without you. You're not considering resigning from Northern Ireland because of that are you?
Yeah that Derby game, I think my team was pretty upset about getting shutout by Birmingham the previous match so they took it out on the next opponnent

It's really annoying haha, but I decided to just keep going since once I get to the Premier League there should be no matches during international breaks. Stupid that the same doesn't apply to lower leagues, but I can deal with it for a year or two I suppose.

Im also doing an Exeter City CM in FIFA 15.

I play a (5-3-2) and its been working very well.. Im currently 10 league games in and I'm 8-1-2.

Grimes is an absolute beast for me, along with the signing of Gael Bigirimana and Tyias Browning my team has been firing on all cylinders. Im having a lot of fun and will continue to look at your post for advice/possible transfers!

Grimes has always been really good for me as well. I started him my first year but he moved the the bench the second year after some signings, but always impressed whenever he got onto the field anyway.

            Exeter City F.C.
            FIFA 15 - Season 2

            The Grecians

            November

            Exeter City 3 - Nottingham Forest 0
            EXE - Wilson 56' (Pen), 62' (Pen), Ginnelly 87'

Wilson converted two penalty chances early in the second half to put Exeter up and give them control of the match. Jamieson charged down the right wing after beating his defender and drew the defense towards him before laying it across the goal for Ginnelly to run onto and tap in.

            Bolton Wanderers 1 - Exeter City 3
BOL - Chung Yong 62' (Pen)
            EXE - Ginnelly 45', Adelakun 70', Wilson 90'

Wilson found Ginnelly making a big run up the middle and played the ball ahead for Ginnelly to take a quick touch right and fire just inside the right post. Chung Yung then converted a penalty to equalize for Bolton. Robinson then attacked down the middle and drew two defenders and the keeper to himself before laying it off to the right for Adelakun to slide and tap into the goal for the lead. With time running out Wilson attacked from the left and came in towards the middle before using his right foot to strike the ball off the keeper, off the post, and in to put the match out of reach.

            World Cup Qualifiers
            Romania 1 - Northern Ireland 1
            ROU - Stancu 45'
            NIR - McKay 44'

McKay split the defense down the middle and attacked the left side of the goal before faking his shot and cutting it onto his right foot and placing it to the far right post. Stancu then finished a loose ball after Cathcart whiffed on a clearance leaving the keeper alone against the attacker.

            World Cup Qualifiers
            Northern Ireland 3 - Ireland 1
            NIR - McKay 9', 90', Lafferty 27'
            IRL - Stokes 84'

McKay opened early weaving his way through the defense and finishing on the right side of the goal. Lafferty doubled the lead after Norwood found him running down the right side of the goal and he placed it to the far post. Stokes brought Ireland back into it after avoiding a sliding tackle and striking it into the net. McKay then converted from the penalty spot to put the game away and beat their bitter rivals for the second straight match under Bumosix.

            Crystal Palace 0 - Exeter City 1
Forced sim due to Northern Ireland match on same day

            Exeter City 2 - Yeovil Town 2
            EXE - Jamieson IV 38', Wilson 45'
            YEO - Berrett 66', Lorca 73'

McCartan broke free and picked out Jamieson for the easy tap in. Wilson then wove through the defense and found the net to double the lead. Berrett tracked down the loose ball off a corner and struck it home to cut the lead in half. Lorca then rose above two defenders to head the ball to the top right corner and equalize the match.

            Sheffield Wednesday 2 - Exeter City 2
            SHW - Lavery 6', Nuhiu 90'
            EXE - Dawson 18', Wilson 28'

Lavery opened up with a left footed strike from the top of the box that found itself just inside the left post. Wilson laid the ball off the Dawson on the right side of the box and he placed it perfectly to the far post to tie the match. Wilson then got one of his own after breaking out ahead of the defense and slotting it past the charging keeper. In the last possible minute Nuhiu rose up over his defender and headed the ball to the top left corner to earn Sheffield Wednesday a point.

            Capital One Cup Quarter Finals
            Exeter City 2 - Newcastle United 1
            EXE - Jamieson IV 47', Hesketh 90'
            NEW - Cabella 68'

After a scoreless first half Wilson found Jamieson on a run to slot home to the left of the keeper for the lead. Cabella tied it up with a powerful strike from just outside the box that was placed just inside the top left corner. Just before the end of full time Hesketh tracked down a loose ball cutting it back inside the box before firing it with his left foot perfectly into the top righ corner.

            3. Switzerland - 10 pts
            4. Romania - 6 pts
            4. Wales - 5 pts
            6. Ireland - 2 pts

            Youth Academy

Carl Little (Northern Ireland) 16 years old 56-60 OVR 74-80 POT.
            - Carl Little has stepped up for the youth team playing as a center back. The 16 year old hit his growth spurt that the youth doctors were expecting and now stands at 6'1" giving him a bright future in the center of the defense.

Jay Holmes (England) 15 years old 71-75 OVR 88-94 POT.
-Jay Holmes has the look of something special. His technical abilities are far beyond his age and enable him to be extremely effective in the CAM role of the midfield. He is no doubt one to keep an eye on moving forward.

Josh Meenan (Northern Ireland) 16 years old 58-62 OVR 72-78 POT.
            - The young boy from Northern Ireland has natural talents at keeper, but his future will be determined on how much he grows over the coming years since he is standing only 5'7" at the momemnt. If he hits a growth spurt as expected, his future seems bright.

Rafael Lopez (Mexico) 15 years old 48-56 OVR 67-79 POT.
-Rafael looks like he will settle on the left side of the midfield where he spends the majority of his time on the youth squad. His main attributes are in pace and the coaches are hoping that his technical abilities will catch up in time.

Xabi Rodriguez (Mexico) 15 years old 52-58 OVR 86-94 POT.
-Xabi at just 15 from Mexico already shows a lot of promise. His permanent position has not yet been determined, but his future appears to be in either the midfield or as a forward. Everyone will be keeping a close eye on his development.

Exeter City Player of the Month

            James Wilson

Wilson returned to his dominant goal scoring form with 5 goals this month and Exeter has risen to the top of the table. The two seem to go hand in hand as Wilson's performances seem to direct the form of Exeter overall. He is leading Exeter in both goals and assists showing that he is more than capable of picking up the slack from the departures of both Ryan Williams and Liam Sercombe.

            Press Conference

Q: After falling two 5th in the table last month, you have risen all the way back to the top after a great month of performances. What is the cause of your current run of form for the squad?

A: Our best players are performing at the highest level. When we get our best players going, the rest will follow their example. Wilson has been absolutely amazing recently, and his performances are huge for the club. We will continue to run our attack through him and he has proven for almost 3 years now that he is more than capable of handling that pressure.

Q: Another huge win in the Capital One Cup, this time against Newcastle United. It came all the way down to the end before we had the winning goal, but it was in your favor and now you move on to face Manchester City in the semi-finals. With two legs to play, what do you think your chances are against such a massive club?

A: The two legs certainly does make it more difficult, but we will focus on doing our best to score at the Etihad and have faith that we can perform in our own stadium. We can only focus on one leg at a time, win both and you win it all. It will be a huge challenge, but we are up for it.

Q: Your international performances continue to look bright as you are still on top of your qualifying group. You had an inauspicious start with your eliminating from the group stages in the Euros, but the supporters are finally coming around. What do you have to say about the current form you have the squad in?

A: The Euros was unfortunate in that we lost Ward in the first match causing us to shift our entire strategy for the remainder of the tournament. Now that we have had the time to get our tactics in place, the performances have been how I imagined from the start. This is a squad that I believe will qualify without a problem and I look forward to what we can do in 2018.

Decent start to the season! Weiser seems like a good buy and chipping in with goals. Looking forward to following this CM!
A suggestion I would give is are you able to make the pictures of the match stats any bigger? They are a bit hard to see in their current size.

The poll is now closed for my '15 CM Team.

                      The results:

                      Swansea 8 votes
                      Roma 8 votes
                      Schalke 6 votes
                      Villarreal 5 votes
                      Other 5 votes

I think I'm going to choose Swansea purely because of the presentation of the Premier League. I will try and do a Roma CM down the line sometime though! Thanks to everyone who voted.

i bet you are crazy to use this lad from the youth squad on your team already ''Jay Holmes''
Haha that guy looks like he will be a monster in the midfield for me. My current CAM is another academy player (although nowhere near the potential or even overall of Holmes sitting there) and he is performing quite well right now so that helps the wait some. One thing that sucks a little is that him and Xabi Rodriguez both are listed at CAM. I will have to try to find a way to play both, hopefully one of them has a decent secondary position I can slot them into.

I have a FIFA 14 contract question for everyone. I apologize if this has been discussed already and I missed it.

Everyone knows when you sign or re-sign someone you can select how important they are to the club, "squad rotation player", "crucial 1st teamer", etc.

My questions is, what is the threshold until the player starts to complain about playing time for each of those options? For example; if I sign a player as an "important 1st teamer" how many appearances does he need to stay happy (I'm assuming this is tied to appearances?)? Same thing with any of the other options. I'm in a spot with my CM where I have a lot of youth players ready to start for the senior squad and some older players that are still contributing a lot and I can't seem to make everyone happy. TIA!!

I can't give you an exact number of matches, but on my Norrkoping CM i had this backup striker that i signed as ''Important 1st team player'', i didn't used him too much, but he played 10~13 matches in the season all coming from the bench. He just started to complain in the end of the season,i think this depend on the player.

4 points from 4 matches, from this point it doesn't look so good, but you had two good results away against Bolton (3rd) and a great win against Watford, you played 4 difficult matches. Still time to reach the playoffs, you have now 3 Home matches to get closer, also one of them is against Barnsley that is struggling in the danger zone.
