Lately after the patch n Matt's V2B4 tactics at first I was enjoying the game winning quite a few games easily but recently it has started to annoy me. Dont know if its CPU tactics or something else,the main issue is with the movement and reaction of my players.They r very slow and not quick to react.Will try taking the sprint speed back to 50 for both n check.But if someone else finding it the same way at slow speed do let me know if you have done tweaks.

Said this a few days ago with no response from anyone else so initially I thought it was just me lol I think it has a lot to do with game speed at normal. Raising 50 sprint helped a bit when I was using these sliders.

A couple people responded actually, and I eventually asked for footage so it could be visualized. You had said it was your defenders not reacting initially.

It could be slow speed, it could be Sprint/Acc; it could be a number of things. I'm not seeing it, or maybe it doesn't bother me - who knows. My suggestion would be to test some values and report back on your findings. I understand it's a tough explanation though.

Yeah, the midfield is there, and the attention being central is good to then have the outlets to the wings - as it should be. Glad to hear you're enjoying it.



As I mentioned it will be lessened, but not 100% gone. If you intentionally seek it out, there will be a high chance of exploiting the AI's conservative defense. In testing, I can take my keeper and dribble through an entire team. Thankfully, as much as I love the movie Mean Machine, I won't be in a position to do that.

At the end of the day, it just depends on what feels good. Personally I like Legendary, and feel I'll be there for a while. I have issues with pro and WC more so for the random CPU defensive players freezing or not reacting. Their issues seem to be a poor input data and response from the right analog stick, so I do not think sliders - or any settings - will be able to fix that.

That's my problem with slow I want dribbling to be part of the game but it's just too easy in slow. No fault of the sliders its EA, ridiculous that the ai are completely different on slow to normal.

I think a little bit its due to camera settings too. I have seen it in previous installments too which is very bad coding by EA. Once I played with Matt's camera settings I was able to competitively but maybe only for shot direction I might need FIFA Trainer on for the direction keys since I play on PC with keyboard n m not comfortable with console.

That's my problem with slow I want dribbling to be part of the game but it's just too easy in slow. No fault of the sliders its EA, ridiculous that the ai are completely different on slow to normal.

I haven't tried in a while. I tested it primarily to research DAA a couple patch updates ago.

FIFA's game is built for online and at normal speed. We're getting outside of its code, therefore issues will arise. Like anything, it's about what you are wanting to sacrifice, unfortunately. FWIW, I've played Slow for the last 2 patch updates and haven't gone back to Normal. Haven't found it easy to dribble unless I'm playing a fairly passive tactical team.

Matt just can u let me know ur camera settings regarding height n zoom. I know u play on broadcast but dont remember the height n zoom.

I usually play broadcast height 0 zoom 20. Sometimes I'll play Tele with the same values.

Maybe I've just been unlucky when I've tried it but I've just felt that the ai dont compete for the loose balls and just let me run off them so easily. I much prefer slow as well so I'd love to play using slow bar the ai defending.

Matt, really not mentioning this again to be a smartass or nitpicker or whatever, but the height description still mentions a "lowered marking value", and i think that might be confusing to new people that'll (hopefully) stop by to improve their Fifa experience thanks to your sliders video (bummer i missed the premiere)

I've been testing normal vs. slow, and had reduced speed all the way down to 0. What i found is that at the lowest value, the CPU defense had a myriad of issues, to include formation shape, and low sprint pursuit, (and I match values for User and CPU). I am currently at 22 on normal and it seems a lot better, but noticed some DAA with the CPU defense. Slow has always seem too mechanical with unrealistic animations compared to real life movements, but gave the match less "hyper". Nevertheless, I haven't given up on FIFA 20 yet, but this year is a rough, not mention the last patch update has ruined fouls given as a result of greater physicality this year.

I would have thought with the Black Friday sales this thread would have seen an uptick in posts. Guessing either EA finally enraged enough people to skip this year or people are going to wait for an even bigger price drop.

my guess is a lot of people will be getting fifa20 for christmas so will prob be a surge around then.im still really enjoying the game,i think it helps that i only manage to get in a couple of games a night so its not overkill and im not constantly seeing major issues as much as someone who knocks out 10 games or more
