5 goals form Leandro. Wow. That defense must have been terrible.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I just won a match 9-0 at home against Bristol City too. Regen Leo with 4. When this team clicks, it's unstoppable. I even pulled back at 4-0, but the team couldn't stop scoring. Had 39 shot attempts to 1.
My enthusiasm has been tempered by drawing Barca in the first knockout rounds of the CL. Almost lost to them in the semis last season, so the quest for the 3-peat is in jeopardy.Comment

Managed to qualify for the knockout rounds of the champions league in the second season of my Liverpool save. We haven't had The draw yet so who knows who I'll play.
My league form has been slowing down since my hot start. Currently sitting 5th about 10pts behind 1st place Arsenal.
Also lost my Assistant Manager Steve Clarke as he took the Q.P.R. job after Neil Warnock was sacked. Q.P.R. Were sitting 18th 7 matches in and weren't happy with Warnock.
Sad to see Steve go. I valued his input on team selection and his ability to take those annoying press conferences I didn't want to attend.Comment

12 games without a win now in my QPR save. My stint could be even shorter than "The One" Neil Warnock's.Comment

In all my years of playing FM, this is my biggest league win ever. Shield your eyes, OSU.

Leandro Damiao had 5 goals and an assist for the elusive 10 rating.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Well, I got through Barca in the CL with a pair of 2-0 wins. Very happy with that result. The quarterfinal draw is Real Madrid, so no favors there.
I just had a massive and entertaining 3-2 win against Man City (they bought 35-year-old FM god Cristiano Ronaldo this January, lol) in the pouring rain at home in the league. So right now I sit 4 points ahead of Chelsea with a game in hand and the next match at home against them. If I win or draw that, it will probably ensure a 5th straight EPL title with 6 matches to play.
After all that shakes out, I have Euro 2020 with the Dutch coming up. Loving this save.
EDIT:
First leg of the quarters at the Santiago Bernabeu was a complete disaster in the first half. Down 4-1 going into the locker room. I was disgusted with it, and completely laid into the team with the team talk. Then this happened:

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
My love/hate relationship with FM will drive me to an early grave!
In my 4th season with Millwall, first in the PL, I had played 30 games. Sitting in 15th with 32 pts, 8 pts clear of the drop zone. My next 5 games were H-Man City, A-Arsenal, A-Stoke, H-Liverpool, and H-Norwich. Not the best of times but I had beat Man City earlier in the year so with some luck, I was hoping to get lucky to start. I figured I could take something from Stoke and Norwich and if I could at least draw one of the other 3, I'd call it good.
So my run started like this. 0-3 L to Man City, 3-0 L to Arsenal, 2-0 L to Stoke! Gave up OG's to City and Arsenal and Stoke was just plan ugly. I hate this game! Everyone below me didn't play that well so I only dropped one spot to 16th with a 6 pt gap. The noose tightens.
I figured I was in for another A** Kicking to Liverpool. Especially since my offense was no where to be found. 1' I scored! WTF! The FM Gods must be setting me up! The goals just kept coming for a final of 5-0 Millwall.
Now onto Norwich. In the span of 2' I scored 2 to get the goal fest started and the final was 4-0 Millwall.
2 games 9 goals! Where in the H*LL has this been!
Going into the season our goal was to avoid relegation. With only 3 games left, we've done that. I'm in 15th with 38 pts, 12 clear.
I LOVE this game!
But seriously, that's what makes this game so fun. You never know what's going to happen. You could play the same teams with the same tactics 3 games in a row, and get different results every time. You never know which players will rise to the challenge or shrink under the pressure.'Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.'-Bill ShanklyComment

Whats up fellas, long time no see.
I started up a USA national team/Tottenham save; starting in dec 2011. Have not played in a while, so should be fun. The hours i spent in FM 2011 are mind blowing. Capped off with my famous 2010 WC win with Team USA. Shall see how it goes with 2014 run.Comment

Playing as Diegem in the lowest Belgian class (Derde Klasse B).
First season I started off hot, and after the first section of games (10) I qualified for the promotion playoffs. Hit a slump, and after the season ended I finished 2nd by 5 points. 36 league games, and my highest scorer had 13 goals.
Brought in a couple new faces on frees to start the 2nd season. Got a round further in on the countrys Cofidis Cup but still nothing there. Lost to a Tweede Klasse team.
Lost the first league game, but have dominated the next two so far.
Running 4-3-3 with flat 4 back, 3 CM and 3 ST.
Will post updates.
