I have a 4 1/2 star regen in my Real Madrid journeyman save. He's 18 and is not good enough for the first team yet, but he refuses to go anywhere on loan. He rejected offers from Man City, Everton, Sevilla, Inter, Espanyol and Roma. Lyon made a loan offer, but they can suck it. Won't go to any of my feeder teams either.

So three months into the season he starts griping about playing time. Apparently cup games and easy CL matches aren't good enough for him, and he wants to be in the first team. Uh....no. If he wanted first team football, he should have agreed to go out on loan. He threatens to kill my team's morale if I don't make him a starter, and when I refuse to give into his demands, he requests a transfer.

He's like Nicholas Bendtner (thinking he's way better than he is), but with actual World Class potential.

Same thing happened with The Ox in the online save.

I hope I don't have to sell him, but if he actually does start to kill team morale, I might have to.

I just had my greatest win in my FM Career.

Started a career save and was hired by Xerez. Rough started until October 30, and then we reeled off 6 straight to get to 8th. Now we have an away match against 1st place Las Palmas and this happens.



Herrero is one of my central mids while Robuste is one of my central defenders (and I had to put a right back back there as my other central defenders are hurt). I ran around the house like a mad man after the two late goals.

Finally into 2013. Had a Carling Cup Quarterfinal Match Against Chelsea at the Bridge:

Adebayor came through in a big way for me. Had to rest Suarez from a big League Match during the week. I was sweating when we were tied going into Extra because I had used all my subs and didn't think my boys had it left in them.

Geez, they have your number.

Don't know if you care, but if you want your league to be called "Bundesliga" instead of "First Division" there is a file out there that gives you all the real competition names. It's on any of the community sites. It's a very quick download and takes a minute to get it working. It applies to existing saves.

Yeah, Kobalt, you should get the "real competition name" fix. Then, as Tim pointed out, it will say Bundesliga instead of First Division. Or DBF Pokal instead of German Cup.

Another season complete in my Athletic save and another 2nd place behind Barca. Did takeover the Italy job though so it's not all rough.

So yeah, remember when I said, City did not lose in the run-in the previous season? Well, they've havent lost in 23 matches now.

Luckily for me, I havent lost either, though I have one more draw than city.

Some other fun facts, Arsenal did not win a match until November, currently in 18th place.

I took over France, who for some reason lost their manager right after they qualified for the Euros.

Started a new save tonight with Sampdoria in Serie B. Going to see if I can take them back into the top half of Serie A and European competition.

Now it's seeing if someone offers me a job (my rep is Regional right now since I just finished up EDIT: It's at National). I don't know how I will upgrade this team with no money in the bank.

At this point it would not surprise me if SI hard-coded it into the game that I had to draw, and lose to, Lyon.

Did you take out the rsnomar loses to Lyon file when you took out the fake Germany file? :wink:

It sucks not being able to play FM.
