Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Started a unemployed save, and wound up picking between St Pats in Ireland, HJK in Finland, and a team in Sweden. Both Pats and Swedish team offered me the job but all the rumors said that HJK was interested...so I stalled and got the HJK job. Little did I know that I was going to be thrust into a heavy schedule because of the Champions League with limited depth. HJK was the title winner but also was fighting relegation because of the added games. (I started on August 2nd in that FC Inter game)
Struggled early, got knocked out of both Champ and Euro League, but have turned things around with a strong transfer window and am looking to get HJK back to mid table by end of year.
This is my first ever unemployed save and I like how it's going so far!Attached FilesTeams:

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
I haven't played in a while. But I've been playing the last couple days.
I ended up taking a job with Evian TG in France. They dropped to the Championnat. So I figured I'd go after the French Hero and applied for the job. Going great so far. But I have the strongest team in the division. So I expect to win the title and get back to Ligue 2 easily. However, I found a gem of a forward in the youth system. Name is Sacha Tregoat. I love that name. Had two strikers go down in pre season, so called this kid up.
I have been using him as a sub. And hes done great so far. Hes scored in three games off the bench. I just gave him his first start, and he goes out an does this:
Hat trick in his first every professional start. And hes played in four games, and scored six goals. He leads the team in scoring, and the league thus far. Not too shabby for a 17 year old kid. Who I am only paying 50 a week. Hope this lasts. And I don't run into this nonsense of PSG wanting him for 10K and me not being able to hold on to him.

When you make a post, right above the area you type is a menu. On of the icons is a yellow box with a little mountain in it. That is the image button. Click that to add an image from a url. You will need to host the image some place like imgur.com.

Oh, you know, just your average run of the mill cup title game with a win sending you to the Euro League next year that you lose after 3 penalties for the win were saved in a row by the opposing goalie after 3 of your main players leave the game with an injury. FML.

Every once in a while I go on the Football Manager reddit page (r/footballmanagergames) to check out some tactics or oddities that people post on there.
I laughed out loud when I saw the title of this post
