I'm at HJK in Finland and in the final year of my contract (2 years). Do I need to wait to get job offers or should I just start looking and applying?

I applied for Eupen and Ingolstadt. Bihor and Senec approached me. I only signed an 8 month contract with Eupen. So I spent 2 months unemployed between Eupen and Senec.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

After taking over a drowning Chelsea, I've managed 2 FA cups, 1 Capital One Cup, 1 Europa Cup in just 2 and a half seasons. Loving what I'm building but as always the game is twice as stressful when you're using the team you actually support in real life.

On a side note, Real Madrid just fired Zidane this summer and have called about an interview. I feel very guilty because I accepted interview and now have job offer. I don't want to move but managing Ronaldo is very tempting but there a lot of issues in Madrid. Ronaldo is going on 36, all their top players are now well into their 30's (Marcello, Benzema, Ramos, Kroos, Modric, Di Maria, Higuan and Bale) and their youth academy is average but some nice prospects.

Basically taking this job at the end of this current team's era.

I'm addicted, but damn it's frustrating. Struggling with Southampton March, currently down in 15th and have a second leg in the EL Last 16 against Villarreal to come. Lost the first 4-0. Just ended a terrible run of league games, hadn't won one since boxing day, with a 2-2 draw against Spurs. Was leading 1-0 off a lucky goal all game then they get two late goals to look like they'll win but Mane pops up with a better to snatch a draw. Hopefully we'll turn a corner but I'm just wishing I can see out the season without getting sacked. Really need to work on my tactics.

While this sucks (losing that is), its so realistic. When would you ever struggle like that in FIFA?

This games depth is like nothing I've ever seen. If only we could "play" too. Wow.

I'm at a spot where I want to start a new save but the new game isn't TOO far away. I also struggle with wanting all the new players on their new teams. And the window isn't even closed yet lol.

At the moment it's a mixture of enjoyment, amazement of the depth/stats, and frustration haha, I have started with Peterborough United in Sky Bet league One...I don't have much funds and a lot of the game still seems over whelming but i am enjoying it!

Finally got through the pre season and played Rochdale in the season opener!...Victory!!! 1-0 a nice strike from Coulibaly...and then we had to pay 50k to Gateshead for Marcus Maddison playing 30 games lol (pretty much my whole budget!)...I'm running this club dry on funds already haha...unintentionally!

Marriage has really slowed my time in this game and on here...

But I'm happy to report that with my new job, I'll be enjoying this game much more now.

                            Fire it up!

Case in point as to why folks recommend when just starting, playing with a super club lol.

You obviously NEVER have to consider that stuff in FIFA. Too cool though 😀

There's a lot of expectations at a big club though and not a lot of room for error. A midtable club is a better option for a new player imo.
