Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
First season at Rangers in FM 18 and....heartbreak...
It came down to the last game of the season against Celtic. A draw or a win would see us bring home #55. We had two losses on the whole year, all to Celtic.
They made it #3.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
The save I’ve been on has been an interesting one for sure. I started at Lincoln city, got fired mid season 1 after being a stagnant mid table team (was 10th in the league at the time). Ironically got hired by Fleetwood, in league 1, took them to the Championship in 1 season. I then left Fleetwood to take the Norwich job (I was 5th in the championship at the time, Norwich was 19th in the championship). But I couldn’t pass that up, Norwich was offering me nearly double the salary Fleetwood was paying, not to mention a far larger transfer/wage budget. Current in season 2 at Norwich (just started) and am sitting 6th in the league after 7 games.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Out of curiosity-
What is everyone’s best Value signing they’ve had... meaning a guy you bought that has out performed the price you paid?
For me- I have 2 guys-
1. Jack Marriott- bought him for $775k while at Fleetwood, banged in 10 goals, 7 assists, 2 POM, and had a 7.07 rating for me that season in 21 games (purchased on January window from Posh). I since brought him to Norwich with me for this current season.
2. Joey Pelupessy- bought him when I came to Norwich last season, and he has been solid in the DM/DLP defend role. Not a lot of goals, not a lot of assists, but a solid 7.0 rating in one season. Bought him for $1mil from WolvesComment

All-time? It's not even close, Harry Pratt. Dude was a literal cheat code for me with his 10 finishing in the bottom rungs of English Football. Goal scoring machine and a bonafide legend in my heart.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Been using a new skin I found on the official forums. Closest thing I've found in a couple years to skins I loved in FM 13/14 or so. Coupled it with some custom views and I'm loving the layout of everything.

^ That one looks like a cross between Wannachup and Virtex. I like it. Most others are too flashy for me, and too dark. I only end up liking a small few things and can't use them for long as they end up either straining my eyes or I get confused on where they've moved things I'm used to being a certain way.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Well, after four seasons at Stjarnan in Iceland. And winning three league titles in a row, two cups and almost getting into the Europa League group stage once. I was finally offered a half decent job. I just took over at Malmo in Sweden. First time I will have managed in Sweden.
Its kind of funny, because I knocked them out of the 3rd qualifying round of the Europe League 4-4 on away goals this year. Then two months later they offered me the job out of blue.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
This has been my favorite skin for quite a while. I think it's called Tiki Taki. On most any other skin, it's impossible to see the lettering to play as Celtic (Green/White) for a long period of time.Attached FilesComment
