Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Yeah, I'm kind of surprised it is taking this long. Midway into 2012 now and nothing. I think I'm going to let it run all day today, and if nothing comes up, I'll retire this manager and create a new one with semi pro.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Well I finished the season 17th. Not sure what I want to do for the future. I guess I could stay for another go, or I could look for something elsewhere.

I restarted my Galaxy save with latest update and transfer; just went through preseason and played MLS kickoff with a 3-1 win.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Well I went on Vacation after the season at Walsall and checked "Apply at Higher Reputation Clubs"
The Walsall board didn't like that, and sacked me.
So now I'm back into the hunt for a home again.
EDIT: I've just picked up a job in the Russian First Division.
Saturn, who sit 17th in the table, will be my new club. I've never coached in Russia before. Let's see how this works out.Last edited by ChubbyBanana; 03-23-2011, 03:31 AM.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
Played my first EVER Football manager game lastnight. I can definitely see how it can be addicting. I love watching a full graphic game (FIFA Manager), but I'm starting to like watching just the highlights. Kind of add more "intensity" to the game.
You find yourself getting sucked into this game and actually yelling at your computer when the other team scores! I lost 2-0 in a friendly....but it was only one game.
Addicting though...very addicting.Comment

Wait until you get to the important stuff. That's intense.Comment

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***
So I've given up the job search.
Instead, I found this editor file, which does an excellent job at recreating the 2011 MLS. Not perfect, obviously, but it is far better than anything I have seen. Playing a game as Portland now, with the intent to use them as a stepping stone to something bigger.Comment
