How do you guys play your games. Do you watch them play out or do you sim them? I'm coming up on a good amount of free time soon and I'm thinking about playing out a full 90 minute match to see how it is.

I sim, and only watch commentary. Only time I watch the 2D is during goals. In huge matches, like a league cup final, or battle for promotion, CL final, etc, I may watch on extended highlights.

I'm an old school FM/CM player since 00/01, and I have never gotten used to the 3d. I prefer the nostalgia feel to the dots or only commentary.

Finished 2nd in the league behind PSG once again. I wanted to be like Monaco irl, but I might have to change that plan and spend some money in the transfer market, I want to win the league. I did manage to win my 2nd trophy, beating a Ligue 2 side in the final of Coupe de France.

Would also be great if my board expand the capacity of my stadium or even build a new one.

So this is the story of Danny Mills, a guy who was at Whitehawk before i got there, I released him after promotion as we couldn't afford him, but he came back 6 months later on a one and a half year deal. I've kept re-signing him to one year deals because I figure there's no way someone that was in the National Conference North could be good in the Championship...

After breaking all expectations in year 3 in the Championship, we made the playoffs, proceed to clown Sheffield United at their own ground, then got Middlesbrough in the Final. I didn't screenshot anything, but we lost 3-2, my captain of the last 4 years Perry Ryan got sent off in the first half. After that game I decided that I had been too sentimental with players and I cleared a bunch of Whitehawk stalwarts out, including the aforementioned Danny Mills, and Perry Ryan. Brought in quality players like Viktor Fischer, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Oliver Burke, and a regen Portuguese Striker from Porto. I was pretty content sitting in the Championship for a few years, but now, we're pushing for Promotion. To get so close and taste it was agonizing. Also changing my primary formation, we've used a rigid 4-4-2 for 7(!) straight years now, changing it up to an attacking 4-2-3-1, we'll see how I fare.

I also blame the loss on the fact that I could not find my tie prior to beginning the match at 1:30am.

Won 2 cups, and finish 2nd in the league. Not a bad season, but the gap between PSG and my team is getting bigger each year points wise. I did beat them in one of the cup final, and they're now listed as my rival.

Onto EURO 2040 with France, where I'm in a group with England, Slovakia and Turkey. Turkey fired me, so I'm hoping we blow them out.
