It happened, it's over, Vitor Periera was an awful hire, and Arsenal are sitting 10th. They've fired him and after interviewing, I agreed to join Arsenal at the end of the season. Realistically the Interim Manager, Fernando Llorente, can guide them to an EL spot, but CL seems to be out of the question. I'll have a farewell post for when I'm not playing the game at work.

So Eibar offered me an interview and I conned them into giving me the job. Way above my rep level. Everyone on the team opposes me. And we are in relegation battle.

First game in charge and this just happened, its currently halftime in this game:

          **** you FM.

They scored two more and won the game 5-0. Complete nonsense.

oofta this club has some DEAD.WOOD. It's a good time for a fairly comprehensive clear out. I was gonna write a post about Viborg, but after 9 years, 434 games, 7 league wins(1 1.Division, 6 Superliga), 5 cup wins(1 Europa, 4 DBU Pokalen) and £18m worth of players sold to Dortmund, I've decided to leave it at that. Good luck to them as they're down about 30 staff members and their season starts in two weeks.

A few of the big money names want to leave for Champions League Football, I'm happy to oblige.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

We did it! And my rep went up because of it. I guess saving a top flight team increases your manager rep. Had a nice run to end the season which saw us safe with one game to go.

Final three games of the season for us:

That draw with us for Barca was their only dropped points in their last 5 games. And that caused them to lose the title to RM by one point. Who also beat them in the Copa del Ray final. RM has now won the league four years in a row. And Copa del Ray three in a row. Also to note, Man United won back to back Champions League finals. This year beating Liverpool, and RM the year before. Also Stoke City won the Europa League after finishing 5th in the league last year, beating Koln. They also finished 6th in the league this year.

We ended up much better off in the end that I hoped for. We were in 19th when I took over. And those last five points of the season were the difference.

Half the team still opposes me. And I don't have much money to work with, just 5M. And I'm being forced to do a complete team overhaul. Because a third of our players are in on loan, and they aren't very good so I wont be extending. And another third is 33 or older with really bad physicals now on way too high wages. Going to be a long summer.

Joey Barton is managing Watford in my save, currently in 2022. I wouldn't want to be opposite him on the touchline lol.

I really hate Real Madrid in this game.
They just spent 169M on Mbappe.

They also have Hazard, Dybala, Gabriel Jesus, and a 38 year old Ronaldo who played 28 games last year and scored 10 goals.

Oh and they sold and then re-bought Odegaard who turned into a world class attacking mid.

                        Rolling in the money now.

So even though I lost in the Coupe de France final to PSG I was able to qualify for the Europa League via the group stage (PSG won the league and I finished 6th)

I finished atop the group and drew Krasnodar in the 1st knockout stage.

I went with the first team that courted me, so I'm the new head man at Nogometno Društvo Ilirija 1911 in the Slovenian second division. Taking over on 6 April with the team sitting bottom and 8 games to save the team from relegation. Excited to be fired immediately.
