All that being said, I wouldn't put it out of the question for him to find somewhere with less publicity and just learn to love the game again after the past few years.
When you get paid as much as he does, you get more criticism. It happens in every sport. Right now Arsenal fans will defend him because everyone is hating on him but once he plays consistently and starts being lazy again Arsenal fans will want him gone. Happens every year.

I haven't seen any Ozil rumors, not even from non-reputable sources...it's all nonsense for views, he's not going anywhere.

Wow, I can't believe you'd call fotomac lower that non-reputable!

But yeah, it's Sept 12th, I wouldn't even bother with gossip most other times, but I kind of just wanted to touch on how incredibly unfairly he's been treated as of late. I highly doubt he's going anywhere, especially in January, especially to Turkey.

You won't get any arguments from me on that—it's impossible for him to not be **** on for something, by Arsenal or Germany supporters, or anyone else. If he has the best stats it won't matter as his team may not win, so it's his fault. If he covered more ground than anyone else it won't matter, as he didn't close someone down when perhaps he was instructed not to. If he sets up several chances but they're not finished it's still his fault for not setting up even more chances, and for looking like he doesn't care.

The narrative surrounded him is so embedded that it doesn't matter what he's paid—nothing will change.

Speaking of Mesut Ozil, he made his debut five years ago here's the team he debuted with away to League One Sunderland

              Szczesny(Juventus), Jenkinson, Sagna(Montreal Impact), Koscielny, Gibbs(West Brom), Flamini(unattached, last with Getafe), Ramsey, Wilshere(West Ham), Ozil, Walcott(Everton), Giroud(Chelsea)

              Subs: Fabianski(West Ham), Vermaelen(Barcelona), Monreal, Frimpong(Ermis Aradippou), Ryo(St. Pauli), Gnabry(Bayern Munich), Akpom(PAOK)

I'll always remember, on his debut, the long pass forward and the smallest touch on the ball to slow it down followed by his first assist—while wearing an amazing kit.

Unchanged team, Torreira still not starting over Guendouzi. We'll give up at least two goals.

Newcastle are pressing our attempts to play from the back, which makes it appear as though they're looking like the better team, but they're not doing anything with their chances—the generic English color commentary is highly impressed with their ability to press, however.

We're also not doing anything—probing, looking for something, but there's nothing.

The crowd is subdued, and so is the play on the field as of now. I need more coffee.

Auba on the wing throwing crosses into the box is not right—it's not the proper use for him, at all—wasted out there.

I thought that in the first half against Cardiff too. His HT heat map was basically red at MF on the left. Then second half he played higher up with Laca and they looked much better.

As with each game this season, we'll look better in the second after adjustments, which I assume also might be Torreira coming on. Once he comes in we always seem to start clicking.
