Mexico doesn't seem like it's taking this tie with New Zealand very seriously. They've only called up Liga MX players and Herrera is starting 7 players from Club America tomorrow.

They're taking these games about as seriously as I take their national team.

It makes me pretty upset that Mexico might get to go to the world cup but one of the best players on the planet is going to miss out.

Why? Mexico didnt prevent Sweden or Portugal from qualifying out of their group. Are you also mad that Uruguay or England are going to get in?

I'll take the "Club America" squad over that bunch of underachievers that Mexico was trotting out there during the whole hex. They're coming off a championship, have chemistry, and it showed today. Seems like they took it pretty serious, IMO.

Barring something weird happening in Uruguay tomorrow and New Zealand tonight, the field for Brazil will be set after this afternoon's matches.

I'm routing for Iceland. They're the ultimate underdog. I think they would be the smallest country to ever qualify for the World Cup finals.
