I'm not the biggest soccer guy so I could be wrong, but despite slaughtering them by the end giving up a goal 5 minutes into the game against a terrible team like that is a bad look.

Yeah, they switched off a bit there, and the guy scored a nice goal, it happens.

Let's not forget the U.S. has not played an international game worth anything like this since 2014. Kinks will need to be worked out. Just be thankful it was against St. Vincent and not Trinidad and Tobago. Then it could have been a much different story.

Nothing compares to World Cup competition in my opinion. I may be ignorant in saying that, but the World Cup is the ticket. Gold Cup, or even the Confederations Cup does not even compare. The game against Mexico was important yes, but not on the same level as a WCQ.

I love Jones and I think he's done a lot for the National team, but it's really time to move on. He absolutely will not be a centerpiece of the team in Russia, and we have a few up and coming DMs that deserve a look (Trapp in particular looks fantastic).

Hell, Klinsmann's entire excuse for not using Feilhaber was his age, but Jones is FOUR years older. Maybe it will be worth taking Jones to Russia for his experience, but we really shouldn't be building a team with him as the main DM.

Man, We're doing the thing again where there's no attack from the center of midfield. Put Nagbe in there from the start. At least he'll consistently put the defense on their back foot when he's on the ball.
