I wish Conor Casey and Mike Magee were on Gold Cup provisional roster in place of Gordon and Wondo. Casey and Magee deserve spots.

why are you rooting against Mexico?

Being half Mexican I used to root for both, but learning how vile the fans are I could give a ****s less about El Tri. Especially the way some of the Mexican-American fans of El Tri that live in the states. Still enjoy Liga MX but I openly root against El Tri to not make the World Cup. I very well think it could happen too if they drop points at home and lose their away ties.

However, this is a USMNT thread so I'd rather keep the focus on our team. It'll be interesting to see how Brek Shea and Geoff Cameron fit in at Stoke. I hope they get first team play so it doesn't hurt their chances. Klinsmann did still call up Danny Williams despite rarely playing but sent him back home for lack of fitness, he promptly went on a vacation to Las Vegas while his team was playing against Panama and Honduras. I do think the part in the article about the Germans isolating themselves was bs though for the most part. Danny Williams and Timothy Chandler I'm a little questionable of but I know Boyd, Fabian, Danny, and Jones all mix with the Americans. Might of really started with this long camp and string of games but the chemistry seems to be there.

it's not as if mexico qualifies nullifies the US chance of qualifying. i'd like to see as many geographically close countries do as well as possible.
              they aren't MY rival anyways

lol wait, wait, the FANS are the reason you don't want the PLAYERS to perform well?

So... would you ask a Red Sox fan why he hopes the Yankees don't do well? Etc...

You understand the concept of a sports rivalry, right?

The beautiful thing about this wonderful sport that we all follow is the supporter groups are able to kind of "compete" against each other in the stands. So as Bruins said if the fans of team are going to be *******s to us, which they are, I want them and the players they cheer for to fail, and fail massively.

The US U-20s still have a shot to advance at their World Cup. Who stands in the way? None other than Ghana. SMH. We've got to get past them one of these days.

Yeah, they need to beat Ghana and put up some goals while doing it too.

The good thing is that Ghana isn't out of it yet either. 3 points has been enough to advance in most cases. They'll be playing to win too which could really open things up either way

Goooooch. I'm excited. Did he play much for Malaga this season? I know he was playing a decent amount with Sporting.

Apparently Bocanegra was left off at his request as he looks for a new club. His career at least internationally is over.
