I no longer feel comfortable defending Kyle.

If they're not going to mark Wondo on crosses, he'll do this all match.

Of course wondo scores 3 after I say that I want gomez.

And on the goal we let in, talk about bad marking.

I'm so glad Mix didn't get his leg broken on that nonsense tackle. Why is that Belize player still allowed on the pitch?

Stu Holden Just great to see.

Beat downs on cupcakes are great for team confidence. Keep them coming. Cuba should be even worse.

Worse than Belize??? No way. Cuba is a better team than Belize.

This might be a dumb question since I am still kind of new to soccer, but why are the starters not playing in the Gold cup?

To get rest before European seasons get started up. This isn't seen as an important gold cup. It's a good time to get playing time for others and see what you have going into the next batch of WCQ.

I am pretty sure Mexican is trotting out an all Liga MX side; but I could be wrong.

that was a nice warm up last night. Great for confidence. I really don't see anybody else winning this except for possibly Honduras with outside chances for Costa rica and Mexico if they even get out of the group. I know Panama has Perez coming in but I don't think that will be enough for them.

Mexico should have no trouble coming out of that group - remember the two best 3rd placed teams get a spot in the quarters too. There is no realistic scenario where Mexico misses out in my mind. I mean if they can't muster 4 points out of Canada/Martinique, they're in worse trouble than I thought.

Rimando; Castillo, Orozco, Onyewu, Beltran; Shea, Beckerman, Holden, Corona; Gomez, Donovan

Lineup vs. Cuba. Love that more games are being played on Fox.
