Eden was a terror today. It seemed like all of the kicks and fouls fueled him. I do wish that he would shoot from distance more though. He’s got tremendous power in both legs.

Now let’s wrap up the knockout stage ticket on Wed. Remember it’s on early, noon EST

Rest as much as possible, at least.

Baku on Wednesday then Anfield on Saturday, second time this season we've had an away CL match on Wednesday followed by a big game on Saturday. FA is such a joke when it comes to scheduling.

Think the 3-5-2 is really working for us. Definitely leaves Willian out a bit as the formation suits Pedro more, but if Willian keeps playing like he did on Wednesday he might move up the line a bit.

Also, Morata was pretty bad vs Qarabag. He does tend to play better in the big games though, so hopefully he will be up for Anfield.

Yeah I'm not worried about Morata. He was very good vs West Brom and like you said, he has always played big in the games that matter.

Bakayoko was exhausted and should have come off much sooner.

Was sort of a tale of two halves and the end result was fair, but during the first half when we were the better team we had chances to punish them and didn’t take it.

Eden was great as always but we couldn’t get him the ball in the second half and it showed.

That counter we had right after we equalized, ugh. If only Morata had pulled it back for Hazard instead of putting it towards the back post.

Oh well, I’ll take a point from Anfield.

I can't believe we didn't put the ball in the back of the net during that mad scramble in front of goal during the first half.

Like you said though Brahv, a point at Anfield is cool with me. Now let's handle these next three at home starting with Swansea.

10 matches in the next ~30 days or so. Going to need all hands on deck.

Also Drinkwater was great, really pleased with his performance.

He's such a cool calm presence out there. He's usually in great position and already has a pass picked out in case he gets closed down quickly.

This was the first game I can remember too where he made some really good runs forward. Kante missed him on one.

It's weird that Andreas Christiansen has been so good for you. No one could've predicted that.

Personally I think we should send him out on loan to get some extra experience and make sure he's a decent player before we fully commit

I don't know if Heath or any of the coaching staff knew something I didn't, but it was very clear that he was not being used properly while at United. He's performed way better in his nine games at Randers. I think it's pretty clear he's unfortunately nowhere near the player he was before his two leg injuries, but I don't think he was ever given a proper shot, or utilized properly at United.

this part is so that my post is related to chelsea and not just a rant on the side.

I'll be sad if Conte leaves and AC gets buried again for whatever reason a new manager can come up with.

Conte will definitely leave at some point, but I think that as long as Christensen becomes a starter he will be fine.

Tbh Luiz is having a bit of a crap season so far, at this point Christensen is the preferred starter.

Not the most inspiring of matches but 3 points is 3 points nonetheless.

Got some much needed rest for Eden, Baka, and Dave while it was good to see Moses return although he looked rusty as hell (totally understandable).

Early one on Saturday against one of our bogey teams and then Atletico at home with a little to play for in terms of seeding.
