That would be an insane haul. Instant quality and top flight depth.

Not convinced Sandro would want to leave Juve but the other 3 are definitely doable

The only thing I think we can offer him is more $, probably double his wages at the very least.

Costa did an interview and said Conte told he him he is not part of the plans at Chelsea. Welp.

Yeah I just read that. The word trust mentioned several times by different journos.

As GREAT as Diego has been for us, he's tried to leave the club on two consecutive transfer windows. I'm sure Conte isn't going to wait around to see if he tries again this summer.

I don't want Diego to leave, but Conte requires complete trust in all his players, and if he doesn't feel he will get that from Costa then so be it.

If he's off though, it makes me wonder how our striker situation will play out. Bats just said in an interview that he needs to play, so even if we get Rom, we're going to need at least one more striker as I don't think we can go into Europe with Tammy as our number two.

It looks like Tammy is on the move to Newcastle which if it happens, I like the loan move. He dominated the Championship last season but he needs some PL experience before he can be a rotation\backup player.

As far as Costa, I love Costa... but that love is like a GF that delivers but has big negatives but yet you can't let go. 3 years in and 2 PL championships later, I think it's time to move on.

With that, let's see what happens of the Lukaku move.

Is Newcastle the best choice though? They have like 3 strikers who are all pretty experienced, not sure Tammy will get enough play time but I guess we will see.

I assume he would be ahead of Murphy, I've read Mitrovic is likely to be cashed in on.

If that happens Gayle would be his real competition but like you said, let's see.

I'd like him to train with us in the preseason but Newcastle and Rafa tbh, was very good to us with Atsu so Im leaning towards being cool with that move. Not that they need my approval though lol.

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***

Kinda shocked how many Chelsea fans seem against getting Lukaku back.

I understand he has certain weaknesses in his game, but he's still just 23 and already so consistent.

Not to mention, every complaint people have about Lukaku could be equally applied to not only Costa, but if you go back in time to the mid-2000s could be applied to Didier Freaking Drogba as well.

Drogba was 3 years older and still less proven than Lukaku when he first joined, and his first two years were actually quite bad. He was considered a massive flop, and spent a ton of time either injured or going through long scoring droughts.

People thought we were mental for spending that much money on Drogba and he went on to become one of our best ever strikers.

On top of everything, Lukaku is a legitimate Chelsea fan. I'm not sure what makes people think he isn't going to play his heart out for us if we finally do give him the chance.

What an odd performance by Dave vs Colombia. Very good going forward but his poor marking and a lack of communication with Reina led to both goals for Colombia.

Sucks for him because random games like this will ultimately lead to less playing time despite how good he is.

Oh well, less game time with Spain means less chance he will get injured.

Looks like Bayern is in for Tolisso as well. Do they even need him?

He's not a DM and they already have Kimmich and Thiago, plus Sanches at some point.
