Let's not act like Moyes can't run a mid-to-bottom level club. His rigid tactics are more than suitable for Palace. Hell, that's the only reason Palace stayed up.

Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
Moyes gets in over his head at Manchester United and now he's a ****ty manager? Failing at the biggest club on the freaking planet doesn't make you a bad manager.
Moyes is easily one of the best mid-table managers in the game.Comment

Re: The 2014-15 EPL Discussion Thread
My bro will be in London for a couple months for work. He was asking me what the best way to get tickets to a game would be, how much they cost, etc. He's not necessarily a fan of club soccer but he definitely wants to take in a game or two.
Any help or tips much appreciated.
For both clubs, I signed up to their websites. For Man City's site, you could view what seats were available in each section...only one available at the time was behind the goal, upper tier for £47. Paid for the ticket online, printed the receipt and collected the actual ticket at the stadium box office just before kick off.
For Chelsea's site, I don't recall having an option to view the stadium seating chart...so what I did was emailed the club saying "I am visiting from Australia and am looking to buy 3x tickets together" when it was pretty much sold out. The next day, a guy from the club called me and said they had 3 seats together available! Side view, but again upper tier, they were £61 each. Again printed the receipt he emailed me (after paying over the phone) and picked up the tickets on game day at the stadium.
A year on and I'm still getting weekly emails from both clubsComment

I'm reminded of how much I hate that time zones get in the way of sports. *sigh*Comment

Yeah, us East Coasters only have to deal with a few 10pm starts for our local team in Baseball/Basketball/Hockey. It's nothing like having to wake up in the wee hours of the morning to watch the early EPL match. I feel for you West Coasters.Comment
