2 outstanding strikes in the Southampton/QPR match. Whatever Charlie Austin can do Graziano Pelle can do better. Two marvelous goals!

Gerrard and Lucas combining to do everything in their power to not win that game. Good lord, probably the two most experienced players on the pitch.

Much needed win for Pool though

Gerrard was pressing all over the pitch and almost sealed the game on counters. Lucas, on the other hand, actually reduces the probability of Liverpool winning if he comes on late.

But he wasn't pressing intelligently, it's like he's desperate to prove he's still fit enough to have a team built around him.

Agree about Lucas though, it's like Rodgers thinks he's Liverpool's Mikel when it's more like bringing Kevin Nolan on to close out a game. He's just going to foul people and kick the ball into row Z.

This 2nd half between Man City and Aston Villa has been pretty good. A few close goals.

Gerrard was actually excellent in the last 20 minutes when he got to push up. I was mainly talking about before Lucas came on.

You guys really need a better DM than Lucas.

Yaya. Never fails, Brav. You talk **** about a guy and he does that. Happens to me all the time.

And that was filthy, Aguero. Nice ball by Milner to find him.

In my defense he wasn't even good in that game.

Also I freaking LOVE James Milner

Well that was an interesting half.

Concussion protocols are still severely lacking. Jose goading Wenger into pushing him. Hazard destroying Arsenal's defense. Cahill could have easily been sent off. Chambers could have easily been sent off for a second yellow. But other than that, not much.

Cahill, Chambers, Koscielny and Welbeck should all have seen red.

Also, I don't see it being discussed basically anywhere on the internet but Alexis straight punched Ivanovic

Finally! I've been having withdrawal symptoms. Euro Qualifying is good but nothing like the Premier League.
