Arsene felt really bad for how the media was treating LVG this week, so after seeing United's loss to Stoke earlier today, he figured he'd try and take the attention away from his Dutch colleague.

Looks like City were the big winners today, with the failures of Leicester and Arsenal.Comment

Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread
I think mostly just Fearwhatnow thought that.
Game today just backs up my comment about reminding everyone that Leicester has a good team, but no actual world class players. Klopp basically switched to a 442, and quite literally beat Leicester at their own game, largely because most of Liverpool's players are better in general (before i get yelled at, im not talking about form) than most of Leicester's. Lack of Drinkwater hurt them, but it's not as if Leicester's midfield ever has full control over a game anyway (average possession for Leicester this season is well under 50).
Even with Drinkwater out there, Leicester would have lost this one.Comment

Control is very different from domination, you can dominate without possession. Having more possession however, definitely means having more control.Comment

Back on topic; never underestimate Arsenal's ability to Arsenal themselves.Comment

This is the conversation every year. Especially when you consider the top teams do those pre-season tours.
My thing is, it didn't seem to hurt them when the EPL teams were doing well in the UCL years back. I'm just glad we still get to watch football during the holidays.Comment
