Cech has been massive, but my biggest issue with saying he's the sole reason we're suddenly a contender is that it takes away from everything else that has been built the last few years. The way the team has grown and matured with each other, and how unexpected players have stepped in and made a huge difference (Coquelin, Bellerin, Monreal).

Would we be a contender without him this year? No—but we also wouldn't be without the consistently great performances of several other players that started roughly a year ago.

Watford needs to quick screwing around or they'll be near the relegation zone soon enough.

Oh for sure, I definitely understand all the bits and pieces of why you guys are better this year. You said it yourself though, you wouldn't be challenging this year without Cech, which would make it just like any other Arsenal year of "we are building something great, next year is our year".

It will be interesting to see if you can hang onto Bellerin though. Two of the big dogs are going to need a right back pretty soon.

We'll just stink Jenkinson back there and we won't skip a beat...right?!

The funny part is that even though stink was a typo, it still works with this particular sentence.

This could actually be a chance for Arsenal to take an actual lead, as both Leicester and City could drop points this weekend. Several interesting games to look forward to.

Which means it's also a chance for City, or Leicester to jump on top.

Massive, massive match for Sunderland. They need these 3 points as their next few matches are, Home to Man City, @ Liverpool, Home to Man Utd, @ West Ham, Home to Palace. Tough run of fixtures there.

I think Palace takes 3 points.

Palace is pretty out of form and Tottenham seem nearly unstoppable at the moment.

So yeah, all signs point towards a 1 shot 1 goal 3 points type of game for Palace.

Well let me rephrase that. I hope Palace takes 3 points.

I want Palace to win(We're at Selhurst so that's a plus) but I honestly think Tottenham will win like 1-0 or 2-1.

Most probably Palace will win this one. Tottenham seem quite tired. They even used first team players against Leicester midweek and after the 70min the whole team was exhausted.

Well, that Nowich-Liverpool 2nd half was something.

I think I'm going to propose myself to Liverpool as a GK. I may be nearly 40 but this means I'm an experienced GK. I'm able to stop 1 out of 100 on target shots.
