So, I think I'd be fine with Joe's comments about £300m not being enough to compete if it came after picking up three points while City did the same. You know, saying we can keep pace but can't surpass, etc. But no, this was after a 2-2 draw with Burnley. That's enough to put away Burnley and move on.

I think you can blame that narrative on the media fawning over the bigger club with the bigger fanbase. They want Man U to be the better team to get those clicks. At this point Man U are as far from title contenders as you can get for a (currently) 2nd place team.Comment

Am I supposed to feel sorry for United or something José?

Well, City paid striker prices for fullbacks—they're distorting the market! Damn these big clubs throwing around money and breaking transfer records. How is a little club like Manchester United supposed to compete in this world they've helped create? What is Jose Mourinho supposed to do? Improve the players he's purchased through coaching?! Don't be silly.Last edited by Krebstar; 12-26-2017, 08:01 PM.Comment

their backlog is pretty nice as well. Includes Carling Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League(Spanish), and German Cup games. Russian Cup games are up on ESPN3 for about a week after they air.Support Local Sports

dubcity, did you watch West Brom-Everton. If so, how are your eyes recovering from the bleeding?

To be fair, 3 of the goals we conceded is because Lukaku can't clear a ball worth a damn.Comment

Hell no, too early for me on the west coast. But a 0-0 draw against a bottom level team is vintage Everton.Comment

All the comparisons in the last few days between the Manchester clubs that focus on who each club bought, not how much they spent, is what truly tells the story.Comment

I know the center ref probably doesn't have the best angle, but I would absolutely love for that linesman to be sat down and forced to explain why he didn't think Murphy's challenge was worthy of any card whatsoever.
Stuff like this is why we need VAR, tbh I'd rather it be used for stuff like that than offside decisions etc. Maybe if people actually got punished regularly for **** tackles then they'd stop regularly putting in **** tackles.
Also, that's already Murphy's 4th foul of the game.Comment
