So, journalists are already scrambling to be the first to post the, "2017/2018: the season of goals?" articles.

Like for like replacement, already at the club. Checkmate haters.

Martino is by far the worst aspect of NBC's coverage. By far.

        I'm not having that.

He's fine as an analyst, just not a commentator.

Up 3-2 away from home? Time to sub out a midfielder for a striker.

I feel like he's doing an impression of all those stoicly critical British commentators he listens to. The phraseology and everything. You look at his wife and he has no reason to be stoicly critical about anything.

Poor defense and errors disguised as thrilling excitement! As long as Arsenal play three at the back with one or no actual central defenders things will be fairly open.

Definitely feels like sub strategy was the key in this one. Two of Wenger's subs scored, and like you said, Leicester had some fairly odd strategy.

Lacazette was pretty strong up top, but he was pretty good down the left side when Giroud came on as well. Bellerin actually played okay on the left too. Exciting stuff to start the season!

A lineup of Vardy, Gray, Mahrez, and Iheanacho is intriguing moving forward. We didn't get to see it for long, but that could cause some issues for defenses if they ever choose to roll with that for longer than 10 minutes at the end of the game. Leicester certainly had more life than the opener last season.

I enjoy watching a stalwart defense as much as the next guy, but that game was hella fun to watch as a neutral!

I would imagine less so for Arsenal and Leicester supporters, haha.

Yup and Holding struggled against Vardy, he needed Per or Kosc out there with him. Hopefully I never see that back three line up again.
