Re: 2018-19 UEFA Competitions Thread
So many negatives—so many.
1. We played a pretty strong side, who now face a giddy United on Sunday.
2. No Sokratis for the return leg.
3. Showed we apparently have no idea to play with a man down. Even getting out of there at 2-1 would've been decent.
4. We'll have to again play a very strong side in a week.
5. We gave yet another side a magical and memorable night by defeating the mighty Arsenal from England that will go on a DVD or some ****.
The only positive is that I still think we have a better shot at CL via the league than through Europe. But, that really comes down to picking up at least a point on Sunday.Comment

I love me a good Panenka.
Aguero again 2 in 2 mins.
Welp, thanks for playing, Schalke.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 03-12-2019, 03:46 PM.Comment

Really didn't expect Atleti to blow that lead, but Ronaldo is the difference.
Juve are still massive chokers tbh, this game is just Juve trying the same dumb stuff over and over and then Ronaldo scored 2 goals to bail them out.Comment

Then when Atletico starts to get leggy they can throw on Dybala.Comment

Have a chance to play the final in your stadium, and this is how you blow it.Comment

LOL just when Atlético thought they got Ronaldo.
And we also see why Schalke is barely above the relegation spots in Germany.
