It's so ****ing ridiculous. No one is trying to score a goal with their ****ing upper arm.

I honestly get angry when he's officiating a match (no matter who is playing). His tries his hardest to stay near the center circle, and is constantly away from the action. So, yes, no surprise that even in the booth he can't be bothered.

Obviously forwards should just amputate their arms so they can avoid pointing to where they want a ball and risk being offside.

6 games on the bench for Pepe then. I have a feeling you wouldn't mind.

Haha, I was hoping someone remembered this!

And yes, when he did that I had no idea how many it was, but I was ready for him to be subbed for Ødegaard immediately.

I thought Pepe was pretty good. Had his good opportunity blocked by Maguire and put in a couple of dangerous crosses. He also worked his a** off defensively.

Also, when Pepe got hit late in the match by Maguire’s arm, Maguire definitely followed through. You can see him look back at Pepe and then he follows through with his arm twice. Not even a peep from the commentators or VAR.

I agree—other than fatiguing himself with the step overs, he had a solid game and near put one in late.

And yes, Maguire intentionally elbowed him, but I figured I had complained enough about blatant United fouling (there seemed to be a lot).

If Pepe keeps this up, he’s definitely staying, as I’m sure Arteta has been working with him, and the more others have stepped up, the less the focus is on him. He can be part of the squad instead of the guy, which I don’t think was mentally helping him.

Yeah, Pepe is a solid player. It's not his fault he happened to be Arsenal's record transfer to a club that didn't really have a successful recruitment strategy.

Yep, no player is ever in control of their fee, and reports of that transfer being many, many millions more (many) than other clubs spoke to Lille about is one of the reasons Raul, the person in charge of that ‘strategy’ got the sack. (he wasn’t swindled, he was the swindler)

Pepe May have been a victim of some modern football shady business, we’ll say,

I almost said something about how he'd of course score—yep.

As expected, Leicester City v Leeds has been very fun so far, and it's just getting started.

Typical Leeds United. Not the last of the goals I'm sure.

I was curious as to where Leicester City's point total stands compared to last season. Surprisingly, through twenty matches they're only three points behind where they were last season. Fewer goals and more goals allowed, but also no Ndidi who had 32 appearances last season.

                            Not bad.

This is getting better and better. Leicester City's fullbacks have already been pushing forward after moving to three at the back, and now we have 10+ minutes of madness, I'm sure.
