Especially silly when it already came out that Arsenal were one of the English clubs that wanted this most lmao.

Editing this to clarify that "Arsenal" really means just Kroenke.

Yep, in terms of the six English clubs, there's no doubt in my mind that KSE, FSG, and the Glazers were all well behind this from the start and itching for it. Especially when you think about how all three of those clubs in recent years have had spells outside of the CL.

Longer since it happened for Liverpool, but this season will have certainly made FSG realize that it can happen again.

My girlfriend and I have been dating for about a year and a half and she actually seems to enjoy watching the Premier League with me on the weekends. Last night, she informed me that it was finally time for her to pick a club and that she had narrowed it down to Arsenal and Wolves. I'm staying out of it and letting her make the final decision on her own.

Wife: "What team do you like?"

Me: "Neither of them!"

Wife: "Why are you watching it then?"

Me: "Just leave!"
