I hope not. As much as I like seeing Arsenal lose, I like when clubs give a manager 3-4 years to rebuild the squad. Unless he is a Jose like manager who you just bring in to "Win now" but Arteta falls into the rebuild category so they need to give him at least next season to get back into the top 6.

The squad has way too many holes that need to be filled and overpaid players to move on.

This is why he's not going anywhere. Last Summer was Edu's first in control, and he and Arteta are essentially trying to rebuild the squad together. The interesting thing will be seeing how they go about restructuring the squad with even less revenue coming in.

I'm hoping Edu looks towards South America.

Genuinely would be less upset about this than when he managed Spurs.

We’re already out of Europe and in complete disarray—there’s nothing for him to do.

For the record—they won't. They're very committed to him as the project.
I'm not sure who to bring in but his "project" looks pretty terrible IMO and the club seems to be regressing. A weird combination of young talent mixed in with underachievers on high wages and squad rotation players. I know the roster isn't all on him but some of the lineups are just bizarre.

Team selection has been my biggest complaint with him by far. Worth noting that these last few weeks without admitting it we’re 100% focusing on EL above all else.

But going back to the start of this season, his selections have been inconsistent and poor, especially considering we’ve been fortunate with injuries.

                  Ok question:

If you have NBC gold, can you watch the games that AREN'T on peacock? The ones that are just on regular NBCSN?

We finally completely cut our cable and this is basically the only downside we can see.

I’m not sure...but throwing out my anti-cable setup this season if anyone else is going all three way.

Sling Blue (NBCSN), ESPN+, Peacock, Paramount+.

Have almost gotten rid of Sling but some weekends they put damn near all games still on NBCSN. Even if Peacock goes higher next season, losing Sling ($35) would be great.

Pretty sure there are no PL games on Gold at all anymore.

I'm also hoping they end up putting all PL games on Peacock next year when they shut down NBCSN. Instead of putting them on USA or something. I'd rather just have them all on Peacock.

It would be about time—all Premier League games on a single streaming platform.

I hate having to log into different apps but with FuboTV (NBC, Ligue 1, La Liga), Peacock (PL games), ESPN+(Cups, Bundesliga, Serie A, MLS), and CBS (Europe) it’s crazy to think I can watch every league for less then $100.

Two years ago that was impossible. I’ll take that trade off.

And you might be able to lower that significantly if/when EPL goes all streaming, because Sling has a $10 standalone option for Bein sports.

This game has a very familiar feel to it. If we are not careful, this will be dropped points again. We have squandered a lot of chances today.

This feels like a late Willock goal draw, just like he did the last two games.
