It does sound like 50+1 is actually something that could be possible thanks to all this, so there's that.

My favorite part of this whole thing was when Bamford said he wished the reaction could be like this for racist incidents.

Or a Qatar World Cup which at this point is still going ahead.

Now even more likely that Arsenal take part in no European competition next season. If Kroenke was unhappy with the lack of revenue these past few years, he's about to really get a slap in the face.

Apparently the Spotify guy is suggesting he will contribute to an ownership group of Arsenal?

This week gets more silly by the day.

How would that work? UK government forces owners/ownership groups to relinquish some ownership?

A group or partnership or some kind I've always felt would be the most likely if Kroenke were to sell, just due to the insane amount it would take for him to sell the club.

I thought this couldn't get worse and then Hair Davies comes trotting on.

Basically they would "restructure", which means passing new laws.

So yeah it would be sort of forced, but it's the only way it could happen.

Oh man that would suck, especially if it forces the hands of clubs like Everton (don’t know their ownership details) who weren’t pushing for the ESL.

I’m not a huge fan of owners being forced to sell. Didn’t really like it when the NBA forced Donald Sterling’s hand even though he was a POS.

I mean...Arsenal has to fire Arteta if they don’t win the EL.

I honestly loathe how absurdly friendly everyone is once the final whistle blows. I don't care if Ancelotti just told Xhaka the best joke he's ever heard—stop smiling, stop laughing.

It wouldn't be quite the same though since it's not like a full sale, the current owners would still own a huge portion of the club and have a lot of the same power etc.

The main goal would be to give more specific powers to the fan portion to avoid things like name/badge changes, moving the club and all that kind of stuff. Sterling was different cause he was forced to sell off the entire thing.

And bring in who? They're not going to pay what some might want, and honestly, there's going to be better jobs for those they might try and tempt.

For the record—they won't. They're very committed to him as the project.
