Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
It has humored me that European fans just absolutely blow American fans out of the water in figuring out how to protest against their ownership and/or the sport."Ma'am I don't make the rules up. I just think them up and write em down". - Cartman

Yep, and honestly, this opens a massive can of worms. Let’s say you have insane security and you can play with no supporters, but once you welcome them back into the grounds you’re asking for pitch invasions that are meant only to disrupt, even peacefully.Comment

I'm glad to see Dele back but wtf is with his new hairdo? [emoji51]
Not sure what Mason has against Ndombele but two games in a row he's on the bench when he was playing great.Current careers:

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
This is actually pretty nuts.
Biggest game in England just got canceled by organized fan protests specifically speaking out against their owners. There’s already talk about protesting the reschedule as well.
The attempted launch of the super league could hilariously end up putting the game back in the hands of the fans.
I hope fans of the other super league teams follow suit tbh.
I can only see Arsenal fans doing this tbh. Not throwing shade to the Gunner fans here. Arsenal fan tv is a guilty pleasure lol.
Arsenal has the right mix of an American Owner, crappy results, and pent up frustration. I know they have some protests on cue for Thursday but I could see UEFA dropping the hammer more so than the Premier League.

*Worth noting that the issue clubs such as Arsenal and Man United are facing is the only person who can buy their club is another billionaire. Doesn't matter if they're a fan, there will be similar issues.Comment

Separate post just to say **** that cesspool. Profited and grew on the back of manufacturing and promoting illogical and excessive outrage and forever cemented Arsenal supporters as pathetic memes.Comment

I usually only watch the DT segments and a lil bit of Ty (his “Maupay is a cheat” line killed me when Maupay hurt Leno). I find DT to be both fairly logical and candid with a good footballing brain.
I don’t know anything about the backstory of how it was formed though.

They have hated the Glazers for basically the entire time they've owned them, probably more pent up frustration than Arsenal fans in regards to their owners.
Definitely hope fans of other teams follow suit, because right now is the time for change.Comment

Idk I think United fans will do it again.

Oh I meant out of the remaining super league clubs whose fans haven’t protested yet. United might do it until the season’s over [emoji23]
