We’ve killed Ole in here and rightly so but we have to give credit when it’s due. Tottenham issues aside, changing the system was a good move that not many of us expected.

Spurs have to pay Nuno 12 mil to walk away. They’re still paying Mou ~3 mil in compensation since he took the Roma job. With Conte on ~15mins a year that’s ~28-30 mil they’re kicking out to managers right now.

I don't think it gets mentioned enough, but the stadium is also going to be a massive financial burden on them for several years, especially after the pandemic. Yes, money from broadcast rights is better than ever, but that is still very much a club with a huge financial burden looming over them.

I know Conte can do a lot with a little, but he is 100% not going to get the knid of backing he'll truly want or need at Spurs, unless he's accepted that to him, success there is Champions League qualification.

Conte freaked out, and rightly so, when Inter sold off Lukaku, Hakimi, etc…

What’s he going to do it they sell Kane.

They also told him there would be no new signings to replace the players sold. Which is most likely exactly what Levy would tell him too.

                Worst possible start for United.

De Gea is keeping them in this somehow. Some outstanding saves.

Luke Shaw had his one good season last year. Back to being average for you, buddy.

Mystifying that Fred starts all the time. What does he even do well?

It's like a training match. Coasting along.

Rapturous applause from the Old Trafford fans. I think there were as equally happy for Donny coming on as they were for Fred going off.

Listen, Man United might not thank me but get the contract out, put it on the table. Let him sign it. Let him write whatever numbers he wants to put on there, given what he's done since he's come in. Ole's at the wheel, man. He's doing it. He's doing his thing. Man United are BACK!
