He’s not ev n that in my opinion. He is shockingly bad. Has no positional awareness and no sense of when to step up or track back. Doesn’t track the opposition, doesn’t follow through, etc. I could go on. Tragic.

How he has the armband is beyond me.

Agreed. It should have been stripped quite a while ago. What, are they worried he might revolt and not play? The way he currently man marks gives new meaning to term social distancing.

I always thought De Gea was United captain. In the senior team he’s been there the longest and probably cares more about the club than anybody bar Rashford and McTominay as the two local players.

It shows the real difference in quality of leadership that when Keita was down hurt in the first half Henderson and Milner were having a discussion. Nobody in the United team was talking to anybody.

Gary Neville (more so than he has in the past regarding Man United) made an absolute *** out of himself yesterday after the match, and it was glorious.

Conte has come out and said he wants the United job, before Ole has even been sacked. I wonder if that speeds up the processes and he gets the axe today.

While a good coach he is never going to be a long term solution only a matter a time he would leave once he has a disagreement with the board.

He was so bad yesterday and when it comes to United he needs to either check his bias at the door or just refrain from commenting. I loved it when Carragher just kept picking holes in his argument. His comment about "why is it OK to say that (insert any club here) need to replace a player but it's not OK to say a manager needs to be replaced?" was spot on as was his mention that United's board doesn't want stability, more so they're afraid of making a decision now.

They won't get Conte. For as good as he is he's just an Italian version of Mourinho with how he eventually clashes with the board. He also doesn't mesh with the "United Way" which always makes me laugh. One of the reasons I fell for Chelsea was that it's results over performance.

With some of the managers out there, you have to at least make some phone calls.

Never met space behind he didn’t mind leaving open.

But really, I’m excited to see him play, he’s just very, very excited to get forward.

Which is why he is the perfect replacement. Keep the circus going.

If Ole still has a job in 24 hours, I will be glad to see that they are a club that isn’t interested in winning. Long may it continue.

They're getting richer and richer without winning a damn thing—of course he'll still have a job.

I’d be absolutely embarrassed if I had any association with that club after yesterday. The only reason Liverpool didn’t name a score and reach it is because United’s only defense to what was happening was to start going for legs.

So Liverpool played keep away for about a half hour as their supporters filed out of the stadium. One of the most enjoyable days I’ve ever had watching Liverpool, as I was at the supporter’s pub in Minneapolis.

EDIT: Also, the thing that Kreb harps on all the time was on full display yesterday.

The referee had two easy opportunities to send a message to United that their **** wasn’t going to fly. Late in the first half when Ronaldo does at minimum two yellow card actions in succession. The 2nd one arguably a red card offense and he gets away with a yellow. One of the most celebrated players of all time kicking out at a 20 year old who dared get the ball before him - clown behavior.

Then less than a minute into the 2nd half, Bruno goes studs up on Jones near the touch line. I don’t even think Taylor carded him for the foul, but rather dissent.

Then we saw what transpired after that.
