Re: The Transfer Thread
Also, all you Gunners are really sold on Bendtner. You guys cursed him for 3/4ths of the season when he missed sitter after sitter but he strings together 1 solid month and you'd rather have him over Ade?
Even with his bad attitude and poor workrate he's still better up top than Bendtner.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Some may fall into this group (cough*Acid*cough), but I think a big factor in our lack of worry over his departure is the return of Eduardo and the addition of Arshavin, who prefers to operate as a second striker as opposed to on the wing. Plus Vela & Walcott are also strikers by trade who have been playing primarily on the flanks, although they may be better suited for a wide role in the EPL. Barring concurrent injuries to several of them (a real possibility with this group), there should be sufficient cover...Comment

Adebayor clearly didn't give a **** about the team this year, it was obvious just watching him. I'd totally prefer Bendtner over him, at least Bendtner cares and wants to win. Adebayor just wants money, so he can have fun rotting away at City.Blind to this impending fate

His workrate is great and in every game I saw, he gave 110% (some games he played like ****, but he was still trying at least). And after all the **** from the fans (which I'll admit I hated on him for a bit), he still played hard and scored a lot of important goals for us.

As a Chelsea and a Drogba fan I know 1st hand about a player who turns it off & on but in the end I'd rather have the more skilled player out there even if he's not 100% motivated all the time.
EPL should be interesting next year.Comment

yeah you're right. They just sent him back.

With that said, I would rather have a guy that actually wants to be at Arsenal instead of one who doesn't."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."
