On the note of Downing going to Villa, I like that move. I like what Martin O'Neil has done since he has taken over and I hope they do well next season

That would not be good for the rest of La Liga.

That strip made me crack up, love how Tevez looks.

                  Honestly...

What would you expect Tevez to do? He wasn't first choice at ManU, has pretty good reason to think that he deserves to be first choice...at least if not there, somewhere. And City offers him some bank.

                  WTF?

sure, there is a striker crunch there (i can't believe they want Adebayor, all things considered), but Tevez surely feels he can win a spot.

In a league where there isn't too much pace, I would expect Davies to do well. 21 goals in 56 games is good, but not other-worldly. I'd take it though. I really want to see how he fairs in a more competitive Ligue 1 and see where he stands. I really wouldn't be surprised if he maintained that scoring record.

Nottingham Forest have signed fullback Chris Gunter from Spurs on a permanent basis for £1.75M. He spent the final two months of the 08/09 campaign at the City Ground.

Why did this catch my attention? Because I signed him in my Forest MM when Spurs listed him. I had no idea that he was even there on loan... weird.

                              Nothing official, but...

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has confirmed an "agreement in principle" has been reached with Inter Milan regarding a deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The deal would have Inter recieving €40million (£34.6million) plus Eto'o and the season-long loan signing of Hleb in order to let Ibrahimovic move to Spain.
