My god, are they really that broke?

Even if he's fat, you'd still think at least 18 mill would be a minimum offer for 'dinho.

Why the hell would Barca offer Eto'o AND 15 million pounds (how many Euros is that?) for Adebayor?!?!?! What kind of crap is that!?!?!?

Why would you offer a player that is better than the one you are trying to land.....AND ADD ON MONEY ON TOP OF THAT?!

        Stupid.

12.5 mil SHOULD land Ronaldinho. He hasn't played club ball in like forever...he's coming off a supposed injury that kept him out all this time...He's out of shape...and on top of that, he wants out of Barca.

Paying what Man City is offering would be stupidity. But that is Man City and they need Ronnie more than Milan.

Adebayor is a much better player than Eto is now. Plus he is 3 years younger, and not nearly as much of a diva. People forget that Adebayor was as good as Fernando Torres this year! If we replaced Adebayor's name w/ Torres, people would say that Barca was getting the steal for an injury prone forward past his prime and 15 million.

Adebyor is not much better than Eto'o. He's not better than Eto'o at all. Yeah, he had a great year and is younger than Eto'o, but he's still nowhere as proven. If can come in and do what Samuel has done in either Serie A or La Liga, then I would somewhat agree only because of being younger. Until then, despite what he did this past year, he is not that proven.

                Doesn't Eto'o have a bum knee?

I'd take Eto'o over Adebayor in a heartbeat. If I had my way, Arsenal would get Sergio Aguero though.

17.11 Derby have dropped their interest in Swansea midfielder Ferrie Bodde, with the two clubs unable to reach an agreement on a fee for the Dutchman.

17.19 Striker Darren Huckerby claims he turned down an offer from a Premier League club to sign for MLS outfit San Jose Earthquakes. I'm guessing it wasn't Chelsea that came calling.

17.49 Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has hinted he is close to making a couple of signings. Operating with the smallest squad in the top flight, O'Neill is desperate to swell his ranks.

19.15 David Bentley will play no part in tonight's friendly between Blackburn and Macclesfield, amid reports he is poised to sign for Tottenham. Brad Friedel, the subject of interest from Aston Villa and Manchester City, is though at Moss Rose.

19.37 Cardiff City have pulled out of their bid to sign Charlton striker Marcus Bent . The well travelled front-man requested to talk to Birmingham - on his way to his Cardiff medical.

20.10 Manchester City look as though they could be pipped at the post for Ronaldinho, as the player's agent is hinting a move to Milan is imminent.

21.30 Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri has said he plans no further summer signings, with a move for Liverpool's Xabi Alonso now looking as though it has been shelved.

21.43 All eyes are on Paul Ince as the Rovers boss has just conceded Aston Villa have bid for David Bentley. More to follow...

22.27 Ince claims he plans to keep both Bentley and Brad Friedel at Ewood Park. Manchester City and Aston Villa have been been linked with Rovers' goalkeeper but Ince has called him one of the best in the Premier League.

Paper talk According to reports in Italy, AC Milan officials are set to meet their Barcelona counterparts to discuss a deal for Ronaldinho. Milan are understood to have increased their offer for the Brazilian, yet they are still some way short of the bid Manchester City have made. Ronaldinho's preference is to move to the San Siro and it is claimed that could eventually see Milan and Barcelona agree on a deal.

9.11 Celtic have denied a deal has been struck with Motherwell for defender John Kennedy to join on loan. Mark McGhee had claimed an agreement had been reached, but Celtic say other clubs are interested in signing Kennedy.
