He's in for a wakeup call. The expectations for him just went up, and it has nothing to do with the fee, just the fact that he's going to a club and manager who will demand far more from him than he's used to.

Maybe that's what he needs Kreb? IDK man, I just know that he's an upgrade over Victor Moses and we needed depth at the wing-back position/midfield. Conte is a micro-manager so I'm sure his role will be made aware to him constantly.

35 mil is a good haul for you guys and a drop-in-the-bucket for us considering all the cash we had from the sales of Oscar, Ramires, Matic, etc...

It’s thought that large parts of his medical could be carried out at England’s training centre. The clubs are yet to confirm the development but it’s our understanding that an agreement between the two clubs has been reached this afternoon.

The fee is believed to be around £35m.

          I'm finally on board, Kreb.

I think Arsene is trying to burn the place down before he leaves. And there goes my top fantasy scorer. [emoji35]

The end of silly season is ramping up now. We have a mysterious private plane flying from Soton to Pool rumor and claims that staff have been told he'll be in Liverpool for a medical tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Is he really that much of an upgrade? I guess I can see it because of the depth situation, but it just surprises me he'd risk losing playing time with World Cup Russia next summer. I can't see him being a mainstay in the Starting XI at Chelsea, but maybe I undervalue him a bit. Who knows...

As of right now, Moses is better because he is a better defender than Ox. Moses's major weaknesses are his crossing and passing, which are pretty terrible. Ox's offensive abilities, despite him being inconsistent, are definitely an upgrade on Moses.

If Conte can turn Victor Moses from a mediocre winger into a title-winning wingback, I'm sure he can drill enough defensive discipline into Ox to make him an overall upgrade on Moses.

Yeah Brahv said what I was gonna say in that we really have confidence in Conte. Not only did he turn Moses into a quality wingback but he did it on the fly. Ox will come in with experience in that slot already plus Conte likes to throw on another defender and Ox could play as a wide middie in a 3-5-2, especially if we sign Llorente.

Saw this and thought it was interesting, shows you the kind of crazy precedent PSG is setting this window.

Also, United, RM and Barca have so much money it's comical. Those percentages rofl, it's like they just found the transfer fees in their pants pockets while they were doing the laundry.

But have they? Because I just don't believe that they have.

But if they have...take it, I guess. Alexis will leave no matter what, and this way we get another young English lad to collect a paycheck.

I don't even want to imagine Sterling playing under Wenger's tactics eww.
