He managed him before in Barca. I don't think he liked Alexis' propensity to drift out of position but to be fair Alexis was young, he's matured in that aspect.

City is absolutely loaded in attack. If they scoop Johnny Evans too it will be one hell of a summer window. Huge favorites IMO to win the league.

If Arsenal don't spend that 60 mil there might be legit riot and coup.

They are insanely deep just about everywhere on the pitch. Is Sterling going back to Arsenal in the deal, or is it just straight 60 million for Sanchez?

Is Alexis to City confirmed now? I saw they accepted a bid but now sources are saying Arsenal will not sell unless a replacement is brought in.

I know. That was around the last time I had time to seriously watch soccer. But as I remember he wasn't first choice then and I'm not sure he's the type (very few players as good as he is will be) to be happy when he's not playing every match.

I mean isn't that why he left Barca?

Yeah he fell out of a favor and then Neymar came so the writing was on the wall.

Pep was a little more rigid back then when it came to tactics. I remember Thierry telling a story about scoring a brace in the first half and getting pulled at HT because he had strayed from Pep's instructions.

I thought he was signing with Barca? LOL so many crazy sources saying different things. Part of me can't wait until the window is over and rumors are done. The other part of me loves this day.


Spurs and Gomes are almost a done deal. 1yr loan with obligation to buy for 40m if he plays in 60% of the matches.

Spurs are quietly putting together a decent transfer window. They honestly didn't need much because of an already-strong roster in most places, but Gomes, Sanchez, Aurier, and possibly Llorente is a nice little haul for not having to spend huge money.
