Re: The Transfer Thread
Former Chelsea ace Deco has finally completed his switch to Brazilian side Fluminense.
Even though he was/is on his last legs I'm gonna miss Deco. He still showed signs of the class he had at Barca but just couldn't put it together on a consistent basis.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Sounds like Ireland + money for Milner will be done eventually.
Man Citeh at it's finest, overpaying for a player. I love Milner, but there is no way he is worth more than money and Ireland.Too Old To Game Club

Re: The Transfer Thread
I agree that they're overpaying for him (as all English talent is greatly overpayed for in the EPL), but not worth more than Ireland? Hmmm. I'll have to disagree with you there. Both are seriously legitimate players, but Milner is both younger and English, which plays a big(ger) role with the new home grown player rules this season.YNWA

If it were Milner for Ireland straight up, it would not be nearly as good.Too Old To Game Club

Re: The Transfer Thread
First and foremost, Milner is the better player of the two. Not to mention the fact that City wants Milner and wants rid of Ireland. Villa deserves healthy compensation for this transfer."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: The Transfer Thread
Looks like Ozil will indeed leave Werder Bremen. Chelsea and Barcelona are hard after him with the latter supposedly having already agreed to terms. Not a bad consolation prize for missing out on Cesc this Summer.
Nick Shorey moves to West Brom.

Re: The Transfer Thread
Looks like Carvalho is going to Real Madrid for ~8
He definitely lost a step or two over the past few seasons but with Alex always banged up we're gonna be thin in that central defender role.Comment
